It's interesting to see what looks like a storage cubby in the XL's bed. Ford's documentation says that XLT models have a "Cubby storage in bed" and the XL does not. I assume the difference is that the XL doesn't have the plastic door? Seems logical that Ford would use the same metal stampings...

Yes, is it is color matched, but only if you order a black Maverick. :) Most of the Maverick photos and videos on the Ford website show the spray-in bedliner, which is black.
