Yup, I'd only ever seen this after my truck sat for a while and I stopped at a light within like a block of my start point, it went away as soon as I was driving and warmed up. This morning, Alabama had a cold snap, and I run into about 5 stop lights on the way to work, and it did it at every...
This, that surround piece should be OEM, it makes the entire dash area. I keep pointing out to people that it's not original equipment, I installed it, and they can't believe it. Looks like it should be there, every other Mav I see without it looks nekkid!
Motorola MA1 , haven't taken my phone out of my pocket since installing it, Google Maps on the screen. Best accessory yet, and no need for a phone mount at all. Device tucked up discretely underneath. Easy.
Took Lil Red on a long, winding two and a half hour journey through Bankhead National Forest. Perfect weather, perfect trip, perfect day, averaged 47 mpg. Stopped along the way in Houston, Alabama to see the second oldest surviving jail in the U.S. Zoom in on the walls, those are 2" thick...
I got a rock chip within days of taking delivery with the closest vehicle a good 10 car lengths ahead second, much bigger crack, a dump truck was coming toward me on a 2 lane road and it dropped a golf ball sized rock that aimed for the windshield. In neither case was there a damned thing I...
Yeah, I saw that too in the description, but it is NOT loose, had to use the palm of my hand to whack the last bit in place. It's solid, couldn't be happier with it.
I haven't followed this thread closely so I may be talking about an entirely different maker, but last week someone mentioned there's a new Thingaverse file for this, I snagged it and sent to a friend with a 3d printer and picked them up today. Hard to get a good pic, but WOW am I impressed with...
I read a lot of folks who said their went down, but of course mine went up, quite a bit. But as others said, there's 1000 variables, including your state, age, driving history, insurance company, what your current ride is in comparison, etc, etc. When my Mav was still on order I got a quote from...
Great pics, thanks! I've only seen one cyber orange and it looked more schoolbus yellow to me than orange, but this pic truly highlights the difference.
I've had it happen twice, both times in the exact same circumstance: cold start after sitting for 4+ hours and then driving only a block or so before stopping for a light. It's while sitting at the light that the surge forward/back happened, and then as soon as the light changed and I went...
Senior here, too, and I've said in previous threads about this that Ford seriously missed their "target demographic" for this truck, marketed it as a hip new urban trend for young people, totally missed that us Geezers would be all excited about it!
I did that, besides the umph at the last second I already mentioned, it's seems like overall the Regen braking in general is more pronounced when at mid level versus low. Which again, makes me think it has something to do with the programming for that particular mode.
But what do I know...
Yes, but that refers to a low speed, intermittent grab. This wasn't that. It was a consistent, every single time little uhmp right as the vehicle stopped.
Meant to also note : I waited several weeks before posting this, because I wanted to confirm the difference. It hasn't changed or reverted back, still smooth as silk now.
I'm having a hard time believing it's just coincidence when the difference was both instantaneous and so remarkably different from the way it braked ever since day one. Like I said, I spent EVERY drive trying to ease it in, test different ways of braking, feathering the response, nothing made...
