My hybrid's AC is loud. Like really loud. Listen at the link below. I don't know if it's is something in the high voltage and/or the compressor itself. It isn't the cabin fan. Is your hybrid's AC this loud? I have an oil change coming up. I'll be querying the dealer about this. Having some...
I have Ford's Premium Care 8 yrs or 125K, plus key loss and LED lighting. I don't consider anything but Ford's own plans. As for the amount of coverage get what you deem comfortable and affordable. It's just insurance. Insurance is an expense, not an investment. The best insurance is insurance...
Assuming a larger screen can be plug-n-play I am surprised a 3rd party hasn't already marketed such an upgrade. As popular as the Maverick is, it seems like a no brainier. I would like to have a wider screen and possibly a little taller too. The cubby is pointless and I too believe it is just a...
Actually, parts of Oregon are still - by law - 'full service'. It used to be statewide not too long ago. I live in PA, but I buy my gas in NJ. Two reasons; 1) it is cheaper, and 2) because they pump the gas. You would take advantage of this too if you lived nearby. You don't do the cooking...
I've read that something on the server side needs to happen. Side loading won't get you anything. If you're part of the beta program though you should be up and running.
I believe you're correct. You would also be able to replace it. If you're going to use the MegaOhm pin you'll need to remove the cover.
This pin would be easy to model and 3D print. Keeping a spare or two on hand would be a good idea. I myself doubt the quality of home 3D printed things...
Nothing is broken in the photos. My OEM pin was just fine. Same goes for the door. I replaced the pin before it got broken. I'm wagering that the aluminum pin won't break or come loose whereas the plastic pin might. If I'm wrong I wasted my money. No big deal to me.
Some Powerboost owners have...
I'm
Okay. I deleted part of my response. The answer to your question is in the first paragraph of my post. In a nut shell, I replaced it before it broke and I replaced it with something I feel is better.
It's not the end of the world if it does break, but it will be an annoying world if it does.
No, I don't believe so. This is Hybrids only. Hybrids have a sealed fuel door. I don't believe non hybrids have the sealed fuel door and locking pin. I'm like 99.9% sure of this, but this still leaves room for error.
Why? Why swap in LED bulbs? Why change wheels? Why change the antenna? Why...
This post is both a little knowledge and an upgrade or repair. Powerboost owners have reported that their hybrid fuel door lock pin has loosened and fallen out or has broken. Ford apparently doesn't have a replacement part for this pin. You need to buy a replacement door. MegaOhn Motorsports...
