I offer a possible solution. Use a regular old basic lug nut. You'll get the seat you need and the thread engagement you need. Ugly you say? Cover them with Color Lugs . You probably want black lug nuts. The problem is the finish will wear off where the wrench contacts the nut. Not really...
You might, but probably not, need longer bolts. The sides are only about 1/4" thick uncompressed. You'll compress them tightening the bolts. And yes, the sides will zip to the floor. That's how the F150 is.
When I bought my Maverick BedRug it only covered the bed floor and the tailgate. It doesn't go up the sides. I haven't looked, do they now cover the sides? In any case and if it does, you'll have no problem mounting the rails over the BedRug. The BedRug does cover the sides in my F150. It isn't...
That'll certainly work. The downside will be that the bed will always be in view. On the other hand, if you think you need a bed camera, well, two birds with one stone. Doubtful the camera will get in your way mounted on the tailgate. You know it's there. I figure the worst that'll happen is it...
Put a weight on your steering wheel. This will fool the truck into believing your hand is on the wheel. So long as lane centering can see the road you can drive hand-free.
Ford dealer installed new AC compressor and the ungodly loud AC is gone. As a reminder here is the before sound followed by the FIXED sound. As it should be.
Gotta say. Some posters said it was normal. I hope they're not mechanics of any nature. I knew it wasn't right.

I"m not disagreeing with what I know now, but....
Comma's own installation material shows wire it, hang it, install software, drive and chill. Wham bam thank you ma'am. I'd hardly call that alpha. That's wide release production to me.
I'm just shelving this grand notion. Hopefully in the...
Questions questions questions.
ACC is just a fancier cruise control. Nothing more nothing less.
LC or lane centering (don't confuse this with lane keeping) is just the ability of the vehicle to steer itself to keep it in the center of the lane. Simple eh? LC is hands on the wheel. It is not...
Comma does not work on the Hybrid. Hold on now. Their website says it is compatible with the Maverick. As such it should be a plug and play affair. It does not specify hybrid or non-hybrid. Rest assured it does not work with the hybrid out of the box, plug and and play, easy peasy, Bob's your...
FORScan should do this. I just did this exact programming change in my F150 (30 minutes to 1 minute). Fortunately the F150 has a detailed spreadsheet with all the details, whereas the Maverick does not (to my knowledge).
That BT CD player should be great. Minimal in appearance. Looks like it'll be easily mounted.
I don't use them anymore, but I still have a penchant for mini disks. I like physical media.
I purchased a mirror dash camera for my Maverick. Not so much for the dash camera aspect (I already have Garmin dash cams), but for the rearview video mirror. The challenge was where to mount the rear camera. I went with attaching it to the receiver hitch. This location works, but it is a little...
This is a long post. After getting through it I was going to post about this. Back up your As-Builts first thing. Do not rely on that Motorcraft site to have your correct As-Built info. Make a detailed record of what you change: what was it and what did you change it to.
I think I am being fair. My AC compressor is ungodly loud. True, a running AC has, well, volume. That "volume" is the radiator fan pushing air. This isn't the sound from under my hood.
My compressor isn't all that loud either from inside the cabin. I can still hear it though. My ears are attuned to the sound. From outside the cabin - hood open or closed...doesn't matter - the compressor is loud. It's embarrassingly loud. It turns people's heads. WTF looks on their faces. It...
Yours sounds loud too. It's tough to tell from a video. Some here think mine sounds normal. Perhaps it is for a Maverick, but I assure everyone it is loud and I believe it is not normal. I've never had an AC anywhere near as loud as my Maverick. Do you think yours is loud? Kind of sounds like it.
