  1. Is the Tremor right for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I do drive a lot, around 40,000 miles/year. So I will be test driving the hybrid AWD version but my driving mostly being highway, being a fast driver and enjoying peppy/fun vehicles I feel I may regret the hybrid. Especially if my driving habits give me only...
  2. Is the Tremor right for me.

The employee pricing gets the pricing down a fair bit below that, I am keeping my fingers crossed that I may get one out the door for less than that. However, I noticed how Ford crept the price up and I am not a big fan of that personally.
  3. Is the Tremor right for me.

Right now I found a couple near by for $37,000-$38,000, I have already communicated with the dealers and let them know I would be interested in test driving one. Thank you for the support, more to come soon. My only gripe is I really wanted one in green but I get a feeling if I order one the...
  4. Is the Tremor right for me.

The ride quality is important to me too, I have a long commute to work but I have heard someone say the Tremor had too much body lean compared to other trims of the Maverick, do you feel as an owner it excessive? If I got 24 MPG with a Tremor I would be at the same fuel economy as my Fusion...
  5. Is the Tremor right for me.

Without a doubt I am in an “analysis paralysis” mindset, I may even decide in the end to keep the Fusion a few more years and come back to this question in say another 3 years. However, I already saw Ford jack the price up on the Maverick considerably since its release and it's quite possible...
  6. Is the Tremor right for me.

I wasn’t aware of that, I figured a smaller generator would actually provide better fuel economy as the engine could run at a more constant speed but I guess that answers my question why we never really saw such a setup in cars.
  7. Hello, looking for a swiss army knife of vehicles.

My hang up with the hybrid is it’s a slower vehicle and with me driving mostly highway with a lead foot, I question if the fuel economy will really be that great for me. If I am getting only say an extra 5 MPG benefit over the Tremor in overall fuel economy, I would rather have the faster/more...
  8. Hello, looking for a swiss army knife of vehicles.

it sounds like it’s a decent cover, any experience on how well it seals against water? 🤔
  9. Hello, looking for a swiss army knife of vehicles.

Those are fair points and trust me I know this won’t replace vehicles with the equipment you mentioned, and I thank you for being honest with me about the pros and cons.
  10. Is the Tremor right for me.

I got to be honest man, I just hit 195,000 miles on my Fusion with the same Ecoboost engine as the Maverick and I have been quite happy with it. If it wasn't for the Ford Employee Pricing I probably be riding out my Fusion to 300,000 miles. As for the hybrid, I kinda wish they would go straight...
  11. Is the Tremor right for me.

For off roading, I am looking more at mud, deep ruts, state/national parks and whatever off road group events that will allow something like a Maverick to participate. I don't plan to do anything that involves rock crawling, as even if I had a vehicle equipped to handle it I wouldn't be...
  12. Is the Tremor right for me.

Good looking truck man, I was hoping to get one in green but my local dealership has a Tremor in black like yours. My only regret with the 2025 is that I wish you could chose between the cloth and plether seats, I would go cloth if given the option since the Maverick doesn't have ventilated seats.
  13. Is the Tremor right for me.

Well that's the thing, I don't see myself towing anything in the near future. If I get to a point where I need to tow more than 2000 pounds it will be probably far enough in the future that I will be looking at another vehicle. After all, I am driving upwards of 45,000 miles a year, so I will...
  14. Is the Tremor right for me.

Personally, if Ford did the hybrid on the 2.0L Ecoboost it would make it so much easier for me to just chose the hybrid. I'd be very happy having the pep of the 2.0 Eco with the fuel savings of the hybrid, I suspect Ford didn't do that since it wouldn't work out that way in the real world.
  15. Is the Tremor right for me.

Did he actually drive the AWD Hybrid and feel that way afterwards or does he just saw the potential fuel economy savings?
  16. Is the Tremor right for me.

Funny enough I do live in the Poconos.
  17. Is the Tremor right for me.

The additional ride height would be most welcomed by me and even the increase in sitting position on the standard Maverick will be much more than what I am driving now. Many people here really seem to like the 4K tow package for obvious reasons but I am trying to think out ahead where I would...
  18. Is the Tremor right for me.

That's what I like to hear, I am trying to get down to 1 vehicle to save money and I have a Mustang now that I was planning to replace with a Bronco but after seeing the car/insurance cost I decided against it. So something I can get that will provide a little fun, do some stuff off road and get...
  19. Is the Tremor right for me.

Thanks for sharing Pierre, I also welcome the tire suggestion as in my experience, most cars I got didn't have great tires from the factory. As for the other features, I feel I may miss the locking 4WD mode and rear diff which cannot be equipped on the non-Tremor.
  20. Is the Tremor right for me.

Hello all, I am shopping the Maverick and based on the discussion here in my introduction post, I am trying to narrow down what trim of Maverick I want to settle on. Originally I was set on a Tremor but from what I heard from some members, I may want to consider other trims. I was told the...
