Yeah I see debate here if its either the springs or smaller radiator that prevents the Tremor from towing 4000 pounds. I believe though the Tremor still comes with the transmission cooler, I could have sworn I read it somewhere...
Thanks for sharing your experiences, if it can handle the dirt/snow in North Dakota than it means it should be able to handle the dirt/snow in Pennsylvania. I also agree with using the proper tool for the job, I towed once in the last 15 years and it was the smallest U-Haul trailer they make to...
So long story short, I had a very good experience at another Ford dealership and got to drive a 2025 Tremor. The dealership without seeing my trade got me within $2000 for what I was willing to spend and they’re offering me a 5.99%-6.74% interest rate loan for whatever remains after rebates, my...
You’re right, however, this is what the sales person told me. I only really built and deeply examined the options of the Tremor so until you told me this, I wasn’t aware those options were not available on those trims.
The main point of test driving those two Mavericks was to see if I wanted to...
I might check with the people investing my Roth IRA, I heard they'll give me a loan on my money being invested. I won't be doing business with a Ford dealership that tried so hard to stick me with a loan pushing a 30% interest rate...
My bank only does personal loans and they want 18% and...
I test drove the hybrid XLT with the 4K/FX4 package and a XLT AWD with the 2.0, they didn't have a Tremor. The hybrid had more pick and go than I expected but the 2.0L was a lot of fun in sports mode. Sadly, I didn't go ahead with ordering one as the dealer was putting a lot of pressure on me...
That's quite impressive, I have been searching for Lariets in my area to check out too, real shame they're not many with the FX4 package and they're not really much cheaper than the Tremor.
Now that is some good information, if I did go to the hybrid I probably would just keep it stock and forget the off roading as bigger tires/lift will hurt its fuel economy performance even more.
Yeah so it seems accurate that fuel economy on the highway with the hybrid, especially at higher speeds, may be closer to 30 MPG on highway. That's a lot of money to lose after buying a vehicles, especially how Ford raised the price on them over the years.
It depends on your priorities, I still want something that I enjoy to drive and I am willing to lose some money there to have that. I watched multiple YouTube reviews on the Maverick, everyone that drove the Tremor and the Hybrid say the difference in performance is very noticeable, how much fun...
I was thinking about an XLT but can you get all other options found on the Lariet? For example, I don't want to loose the power locking tailgate, the power sliding rear window and the upgraded sound system. I know you can still get the 360 features it seems.
I was also looking around for 24...
That's good to hear but does the hybrid give you great fuel economy when driving on highways and at higher speeds? I'd like to hear more on this personally.
In my case I am trying to consolidate down to 1 vehicle, so I can half my insurance payments. I am still interested in testing out a hybrid AWD but I feel that since I drive mostly highway and I drive fast, the hybrid won't deliver the fuel economy I would expect and it wouldn't be as...
Originally I was going to stick with 2 cars, my plan was to replace my Mustang with a Bronco and in a couple years when I get north of 300k miles on my Fusion to replace it with a Maverick. However, I am getting sick of paying the ever rising cost of insurance, all I hear from my insurance is...
That's not too bad, I thought it was closer to 8 seconds but do you really think the hybrid would be worth it for someone who drives fast and does mostly highway driving? Again, I think I would end up getting lower fuel economy than what its rated for and regret not just getting the faster, more...
I really cant see a time where towing at all, especially more than the stock 2000 pounds will be important for me, as I don’t have the room to store something that needs to be towed.
I am also weighing the lift/bigger tires down the road, I just don’t know if I want to take a hit to my fuel...
