I have one of these and like it a lot for what it is. Looks nice enough and keeps crap from blowing out and out of sight. Not 100% waterproof, but good enough for me. Could be better if I had used the weatherstripping they provided maybe. Came with a cheesy battery powered light that I...
Tows my 1500 lb boat like it's not even there. Towed a much heavier 6x12 trailer full of household goods for a short distance and barely felt that. Zero hesitation when I punch the go pedal. I love this little trucklette! If the hybrid drivetrain can go 300k miles I'll be really impressed.
Yes and it was tight AF and didn't fit my filter socket wrench. Was real fun to get off with a strap wrench 1/100th of a turn at a time. Replaced it with the recommended STP extended life filter which is bigger and fits my wrench.
Right??? I wonder what genius decided to make that piece of plastic look like Swiss cheese except for putting access holes where they're actually needed? Unless it was done on purpose to give dealers a reason to upsell.
Yeah because the rest of the country should pay for your EV via rebates and the gas tax you don’t pay to maintain the roads you drive on. I bet you like to go to friends’ houses and plug into their power too. Maybe scam a free charge at work every day while you’re at it.
I have nothing...
Don’t know, but they are more of a screw type thread than a nut. There’s no way I’d want to do it by hand though. A cordless screwdriver with a Torx bit is much faster.
At least 30k per year and no.
Until you drop a screw and spend 30 minutes looking for it. At 69 you're probably retired and don't GAF about wasting time.
I do take my Ram to the dealer for oil changes, but that's because it has a lifetime warranty (something you could get during the Great Recession) and I don't want to give them any excuse to deny it by claiming I skipped service. It's not synthetic oil, but they don't charge anywhere near $120...
I can still buy a family pack of chicken breasts for like $10. That's much cheaper than raising your own chickens. I know this from experience. Socks? Don't know where you shop or maybe you're in Canada but I can get a pack of 6 pairs Dickies or Wrangler work socks for less than 20 bucks...
That would be pretty illogical since you sound like someone who would probably rearend me and it's well-documented you can't get parts to fix these things after a fender bender.
I doubt the production cost is even that much. It's a piece of plastic. Having it there probably gains you an extra 0.01 mpg, which is a win in Ford's eyes. Good to know it's so cheap for you and me to buy though. Makes cutting it seem less drastic.
Mine is an XLT Lux, but as far as I know the seats and steering wheel start in the same condition they where in when you parked it with one exception. If the seats were on the '1' or '2' setting they will automatically go to '3' the next time you start it. If seat and/or steering wheel heat...
Sigh, again I realize WHY the cover is there. No need to debate that or try to educate me with links. My solution would be to notch out the already existing, yet misplaced, hole for the drain plug and use a 4" hole saw for oil filter access. Some day I'll probably lose or strip out a...
