With the price increases the 24's already have a built in $2-3000 markup plus less features and worse color choices than the 23's. It's no wonder sales are slowing. I'm 75% sure I'm keeping my 23 and letting the dealer keep the 24 I ordered. It'd be nice to have a Lariat, but not worth an...
This is not peculiar to the ecoboost. The hybrid has the same oil filter accessibility issue. I will probably continue to take the entire cover off and curse Ford every time.
Changed it the first time at 3000. As noted in another thread, the filter that comes from the factory is actually smaller than the one Ford recommends. I also noticed I only drained 5 quarts of oil, so I don’t know if it burned some because the engine wasn’t tight yet or the factory didn’t...
Which is what I do, but like I said, cell signal sucks here, so I get pissed and end up playing mp3s that I have saved directly to my phone. Just wish we could have Sirius in every trim level like literally every other manufacturer does.
Doesn't come with it, which is lame. Aftermarket options are not great. One of the reasons I ordered a Lariat. I get 10 minutes from my house and lose cell signal and can't stream it.
I'm actually heading to a steel mill this weekend. That's the bad part about field service. Until today I had other weekend plans. At least I'm hourly and will get lots of overtime. Salaried engineers work a lot for free.
I believe K&N’s do.
Believe me, I know it. I actually don’t do any engineering anymore. I found that desk jobs didn’t suit me so I work in the maintenance and field service side of things now. I constantly have to deal with things that are poorly engineered, and the engineers don’t like it...
I wouldn't change my order at all once I had a build date. A bedliner can be easily done by a third party company that is probably the same thing the dealer will use and cheaper.
Will take me less than 10 at current rates. I picked it up a month ago Saturday and have about 3500 on the clock. Lots of miles for field service work. That’s why I wanted good fuel economy and a vehicle that can haul something.
I got mine to go into Engineering Mode and the instructions weren’t quite right but I figured it out. I think maybe I did hold the ok button before turning the ignition.
I don’t think I adjusted the right thing though, as my AFE is still off by about 2 mpg.
