Hereās the dash cover I bought.

I didnāt use any tape or stick stuff of any kind. It stayed in place great. Then one trip to the car wash & I think they armoralād under it and it slipped around for months. Now itās settling back, mostly.
it does fit well, cutouts and...
It was a little round plastic foot off some furniture or something. With a tiny needle that held it to a leg.
I pulled it out, but thought it was in the tread, not side wall. Didnāt give it a second thought until 4 or 5 days later when I got a low pressure warning.
Iād never heard of flex tape. But hereās what Google says. Since Iām unable to unmount and remount a tire from a rim, doubt any tire shops would use it.

I do wonder about aerosol flat fix stuff...
I've never been a fan of Firestone here in Ca. But they were close & for flat repair came recommended.
Have one ordered with installation appointment Friday from America's Tire store. $199, with install & tax OTD for $239. Little military discount there.
Only 5K miles on the rest. They will...
Just back from a Firestone shop. I've had a slow leak, takes about 3 days to go from 38 psi to 20. I did pull a tiny pin the other day. Didn't remember where it stuck in.
I have the Michelin 225/60 R18 Primacy. They want $380 for ONE tire! They did find the leak, it is on the sidewall.
So...
May be somewhat a personal thing. But even with extremely cautious step by step procedure, should be an hour to hour & half max. My biggest slowdown was deciding exactly where to place and how to space the 4 clamps on each side. Instructions really only said one clamp should be positioned...
Correct no locking mechanism other than a locked tailgate. And if someone wants into the bed, a small pry bar would likely defeat any tonneau latch.
The one thing Iāve yet to make/buy (Iāll make my own) is a divider board. One that fits into the bed wall notches. Makes a short space close to...
I donāt recall any sealer strip coming.
Truck Bed Solutions sent, free, a roll of stick on gasket which I never used.
I do get a bit of water in heavy heavy rain, and car wash. But not enough that I worry. I got a tonneau primarily for security of cargo.
Or search Amazon for the Leer HF650. Itās a quad fold. I paid $1,100 for mine. There was a post here last week with the Amazon link with a price of $650 I believe.
It fits great. I did have to adjust, micro adjust, the squareness as one side in the back didnāt securely latch. Took less than 5 minutes.
The tailgate opens and closes regardless of where the tonneau is positioned.
I would buy it again, even at the $1,150 price. To me itās a complete no...
Just received my tiedown from Lane! Great and easy to do business with. Bracket looks perfect. Cant install for a day or so.... my hybrid is on charge due to another deep sleep. Don't want to interrupt that process.
Thanks to Lane for making these!
