2022 XLT Hybrid - outlets not working either here. Had the recall work done last week and also waiting on an emissions part (heat regulator?) - went to use the bed outlet to blow up my bed while camping today and neither outlet is working. I love my truck my these issues are starting to wear on...
I definitely get annoyed by the hood scoop and how the wipers are situated. You can't easily lift the wipers when the weather is bad, and SO MUCH SNOW collects in the scooped out area, I'm surprised that a cold weather company designed something so unfriendly to winter weather. I also wish the...
We had a 2008 Prius that was great for mileage in cold weather once it got warm, and I suspect the Maverick would have had better MPG if not for the seat/steering wheel heaters and my wife putting the temp up super high in the cab. We took our Prius everywhere and it held a LOT of stuff when you...
I've used the three pronged outlet in the truck bed when the truck is running to inflate an air mattress using the mattress's internal pump on multiple occasions. Worked great. Great camping hack!
No drag racing now! (Have to admit I didn't expect the Truck to be the build, was expecting a Flux Capacitor in there somewhere, but it looks VERY cool.) Nice job, McFly!
Yeah, we had the heater pretty high, seat heater was on, the steering wheel heater was on (which is awesome) and it was a bit windy, all of which probably impacted the MPG.
We had -13 degree F temperatures this past weekend. Truck started up no problem. I drove 100 highway miles in -8 and then another 100 highway miles in -2. MPG was around 23MPG (with 10 miles electric) in each direction. Didn't go above 75, and half of the drive was 55mph. My lifetime average MPG...
Got the letter from Ford saying I can schedule for the fix, and I called my dealership and they had to have someone call me back, looks like this recall notice is flagged in their system.
I hear what you're saying, but the evidence was definitely out there if they actually looked. Their wild success now turning into what looks like abject failure is, weirdly, evidence that how they look at the market is just messed up. They need better outside consultants.
XLT Hybrid / Went out to my Mav this evening and punched in my code but nothing happened. Went inside and got my keys and it wouldn't remotely unlock, had to actually use the key in the door. Got in the truck and tried turning it on, nothing. Totally dead. Last drove it on Sunday, drove almost 2...
Dude is not messing around and brings RECEIPTS!!! Good for you! Order from IRA Ford in Maine or Grappone Ford in Bow. I got mine at IRA Ford in Maine and they were very good. But yeah, Autofair owes you the chance to buy a Maverick (with a nice discount for your troubles!)
Weird. I would have thought the ECO mode would have done better than the standard mode. If you are getting good mpg with the standard setting, then ECO probably isn't worth remembering.
Great video, thanks for the info! Nice graphics, too! I find it is still very fast on the highway in ECO mode. No trouble going over 75 (sometimes going over 75 too easily)
I have a soft tonneau on my Mav and fits well. There's a little movement on the highway but it's real secure. a little water does get in some times in bad storms, and the water does collect on it when it rains. But for $300 it was a good deal and I'm happy with how it looks and functions. I have...
Wow. I'm averaging 43 MPG and I drive a lot of highway, but around town I usually am getting OVER 50 mpg per trip. Are you using ECO mode? Are you using the AC a lot? Driving up a lot of hills? ONLY 38 MPG while driving 10 miles doesn't feel right. Maybe something wrong with the battery?
My BIGGEST piece of feedback is that ECO mode should be the default mode. 2nd biggest piece of feedback would be the phone call connections, using an iPhone the first call you make or receive when driving doesn't go through the vehicle, instead if goes to the phone even though it's displayed on...
Love my XLT Lux Hybrid. I'm getting pretty amazing gas mileage (lots of highway driving at 75mph and still around 43 mpg) even though my front bumper cover got broken by the dealer during the recall fix. Definitely a few complaints (ECO mode isn't default, phone calls not connecting properly)...
