Previously I saw someone else remove and polish the orange peel underneath.
I thought I liked it.
But, I also like the 'flow' of the dark tinted side windows with black pillar.
I could go either way.
If it were $250 savings to not have them wrapped, I could find a better use for that $...
Found some more Snow. :D
Tad too deep for the Lobo..
Nothing that a couple hours of shoveling couldn't fix.
It was all going well until the control arms/rear diff got hung up on a ridge of old hard and frozen snow (from previous snow ruts).
Just a basic clearance issue.. Traction was good...
Pulled off the road and was amazed that this Lobo front end cleared this maneuver.
I know it doesn't show well in the pics, but I continue to be impressed by the front end clearance and roll over.
(I'm coming most recently from a low stock ride height Focus ST with a long chin/splitter, that...
If you are after a set of winter rims, I think Discount Tire has cheap steelies.
OFC you won't get a 'used deal' with tires..
But, you also prob won't get scammed or at the very least, have your time wasted by someone who doesn't know what they have.
As an ex-Focus ST owner, I know that 5x108...
You want 5x108 bolt pattern.
AND you want to make sure offsets are similar enough to fit your vehicle.
You can use spacers to add offset. But do your own research on that to determine if that is what you want.
thanks. i was looking for the from "ON" to "Accessory" option, doesn't seem to be one, without Shutting Off, and powering back on and waiting for re-boot and re-connection.
Looks good. Clean Black is so good.
I liked my Tuxedo Black FoST, looked so good when clean, in the sun, when that Metal flake would present itself to the eye.
Black brake calipers, and clear front marker lenses. :D
Seems dumb that I need to ask, so I must be missing something obvious.
Anyone know how to do this?
Currently if I shut off ignition, the audio stays playing only until I open the Door.
Then it turns off the radio.
I have to then press the Radio button again, wait for the system to boot up...
I guess I just want a button I press when I expect to be stopped in traffic, at a stop light, or for whatever reason that I deem an engine stop is needed for a 10s or longer amount of time.
It still requires holding the brake pedal, that is fine.
But instead of it being "automatic", it only...
Its weird you mention this. Mine only works in Drive. If I change to N or P, the engine auto-restarts. I would kinda like for it to stay stopped in N and P.. But I get why it restarts..
Yet another reason I'd prefer just having a simple switch to press when I WANT it to stop the engine...
Yes, still the knob.
My personal issue was that there are times where I want to enter and start the vehicle without all of the Lights turning on automatically.
Just for a more comfortable experience if sitting in the drive way /parking lot idling, for example.
Sure, just turn the knob to Off...
I'm also keen on the Hyundai 'N' models.. Since Ford quit making hot hatches, and manual trans options. I'd still prob go for a Toyota GR Corolla first though. :D
The color thing is funny. When I had a Black FocuST, I wanted the Gray (or Nitrous Blue of the RS).
I still have a thing for...
And on a side note, you can temporarily disable auto-high beams by flicking the stalk forward when the brights are on in auto mode. This turns off the auto-high beams, until you flick it forward again to enable high beams...then should be in auto-high beam mode again.
I use this trick...
Normal for '25s.
As other mentioned. Seat belt minder will popup soon after and block it..
Poor UX design, seems like an after thought/legal requirement (the seat belt minder).
But even so, they could prompt the mode screen to come up AFTER the seat belt minder, and maybe change it to 30...
Tails look great, I'd like to eliminate some of the Red on the rear. But had heard of similar 2025 issues/concerns. And...the $$$.
Clear or maybe even Black front marker lights may look good on that Gray. (The Orange on Blue really bugged me on mine.)
Do you haul that moto in the Lobo? That'd...
Def Bronze/Copper.
But, I'm sorta biased, and have wanted Bronze/copper wheels for a long time.
Still think it looks good on the White, even tho White isn't my pref.
I wish I would have done a full w/s ceramic tint (even if it was only 80% or less).
Ceramic film is impressive for heat rejection.
The 5% [ceramic] banners I've done on my past 2 vehicles (including my Mav) is actually very useful (for my height, eyes/skin), but if your vehicle sits outside, a...
Eco (to tame the throttle inputs), in addition to staying light and Smooth on the throttle.
I wouldn't lug a non-Port injected Ecoboost, but thats just me.
Otherwise, low RPM and stay out of boost.
I'd even add, NO cruise control, because it will want to downshift for hills. If you roll down the...
Forscan can disable auto-headlights . Or basically you set a new 'default' - to Off. I did this for a short while, but then realized I actually liked the auto-headlights.. So its back On.
Auto start/stop can also be disabled by Forscan. I disabled it for a while. But, I've turned it back on...
