I sent them a message asking if they are still going to be released.

There must be a very significant delay as it is almost the end of April and we still don't have a release date.

    No word on these yet?
  4. 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid - 70,000 miles - Lurching and Vibrations

Sometimes "arm chair quaterbacking" actually works lol. At least when it comes to problems that seem to be common. For instance, I was having pretty bad vibrations coming from my driver side footwell. Research into the problem showed me the likely culprit was the CV axle. Ended up being exactly...
  5. 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid - 70,000 miles - Lurching and Vibrations

The lurching happens to me too but very randomly. No way the dealer would be able to replicate it and diagnose. It's very subtle so it hasn't caused me any big problems so I'm not too worried about it. If it gets worse I'll bring it up to my dealer.
  6. My CV axle saga

Any change to your part numbers? My driver's side that was replaced has the same as it came with.
  7. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

I didn't take detailed pictures of my old one and it looks to be a standard CV axle. It feels great though.
  8. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

Below are my old CV axle and the new one. The base part number is the same but the number underneath it is different between them. Top is old. Bottom is new.
  9. My CV axle saga

I just got my truck back getting the driver side CV axle replaced on my MY22 Hybrid. Dropped it off last night, and they had the part to fix it and replaced it this morning. I must have gotten really lucky hearing some people are waiting weeks for theirs to come in.
  10. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

Just got my truck back from getting the CV replaced under warranty. I'll have to put it up on my ramps to check the part number.
  11. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

Remains to be figured out. The 2025 uses a new transmission so it's possible the insert points are different. Someone will have to receive their 2025 and remove the CV axle for us to know. Or call around to different Ford dealerships and ask their maintenance departments until you get an answer.
  12. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

Got word back from my friend. His cousin told him that the new 2025 axles are indeed different from the previous years. Unfortunately he was unable to get a part number.
  13. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

Found a way to remove the unnecessary terminals from the pigtail without any special tool. Just take the black and red caps off then use a pick or small screwdriver to push the terminal outboard and push up on the wire. They come right out.
  14. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I got whatever they had on the shelves. What is the benefit of using GXL? I plan on protecting the wires with plastic tubing.
  15. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

Ah ok. I ended up getting 40 feet of 18 gauge wire from Autozone. Unfortunately it's all black so I got some colored electrical tape to mark them to whatever I need to make things organized somewhat.
  16. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

@inline_five Would 20 gauge wire be okay for this project?
  17. RIVAL Aluminum Skid Plate Ford Maverick (non-Tremor)

Would you have any recommendations for better hardware?
  18. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

I have a friend who has a cousin that works at the factory in Mexico. He didn't guarantee an answer but he will look into getting a part number of the 2025 hybrid axles.
  19. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I got the first step done for my project. Installed the steering wheel buttons. Getting the wheel off was easy. It was a bit of a challenge to get the faceplate off to get access to the switch.
