Bought a used shop crane this morning that I need to install the engine in my '65 Dodge Coronet.
My old shop crane does not have an extendable boom so this is more better!
Good $75 investment
We mooch off of my wifes brother in Sorrento east of Orlado. Nice big bedroom with a private bath and shower.
He has five acres with horses, goats, chickens etc. Nice heated pool in the lanai.
My wife has neen flying down early to spend a few weeks visiting then I drive down and we wind up...
I had Blizzaks on my Mark VIII and one of my Continentals... darn near as good as 4WD on a car.
I would put a set on this Maverick but the local salvage yards want too darn much for a used set of wheels. I'm not spending $1200 on tires and wheels when the truck spends late January and the...
I still drive for a living but , for the last five years or so, I head to Florida in January and mooch off of my no brother good in law.
My wife has been doing thst for over 20 years. Now she flies down and I give her a couple weeks then drive south. We spend 2-3 weeks together then drive back...

Darnit!!!
I'd like to see an affordable steel resr window grate to protect it from shifting cargo.

As a side note I just figgered out to reset my oil change monitor. Sick of looking at the "oil life 5%" warning after changing the oil a few weeks ago.
I thought that thing was supposed to read the condition of the oil then report it... another huge...
Mine is steel.... FX4 pkg.
I sure got a bunch of dirt and road debris out from it this oil change.
I sure wouldn't want to remove that while laying on my back! I was told most joints charge $40 to R&R that plate during an oil change... @ $100+ per hour labor rate I can believe it.
One good...
Well I have a correction to make...
I paid $4.35 ( now $4.85) for the Federated brand B2 filters when they were made by Baldwin.
Since going to overseas production ( first China now Vietnam) the Federated prices have gone up.
The genuine Baldwin branded B2 filters I bought on Amazon last...
I paid just over $4 each on a case of 12 B2's. $14? That's crazy money for an oil filter. O' Weirdly gets about $12 for some of their filters... not my $12.
Since I couldn't find my case of Baldwins (after my grandson used my shop and 'organized' some of my inventory I bought a filter at my...
Well she has been with me thru a lot... promoting auto racing, running hot rod shows, auto parts swap meets.
She always points the flash light in the wrong direction... she turns wrenches to the wrong clockwise direction... somehow push becomes pull when she helps me get an immobile project...
