Well mine does not... I guess I'll revisit the tech expert at my dealer again
But different years have different capabilities... just as an XLT may have a different remote than a fancier trim level truck.
Another dumb move IMHO
It's a former dirt track motor from a late model stock car.... 340 from a '73 Dodge Challenger.
I bought it to build to use in my '65 Dodge Coronet but other more important stuff has come up so I sold it and delivered it to it's new owner in Michigan.
With the pending repeal of some EPA regs small cheaper trucks may reappear in the marketplace. Regular cabs would likely bevthe least expensive and I'm sure would fit the budget of plenty of business's.
Wiith the onset of winter the tire pressure needs to be adjusted. I usually use my trusty tire gauge but I thought I would try the new fangled gaugescon the dash screen.
So I set all four tires to 35 psi. Great. After driving one city block each tire now registers a different pressure... 28 psi...
22-24 around my small town with some highway driving.
27-28 highway and 28-29+ using premium Top Tier fuel. We are talking 75-80 mph driving (sometimes higher) not 55 in the left lane with the left turn signsl on.
Most of that stuff I don't want. My dually has a/c , power windows and locks and tilt/cruise. The basic 727A package that Ford installed on millions of F series during the 90's.
A truck so equipped will outlast all these hi optioned electronic whiz bang vehicles being sold today.
I really...
Really... have fun with the food shortages after you rely on a 4.5' bed to supply your grocery warehouse.
Look around you... everything you see came by truck... big trucks.
Everything you buy, eat, drive, wear Without trucks you'd be naked, homeless and hungry.
An oversize vehicle is more than 108" wide...any vehicle more the 96" wide requires roof clearance lights and rear and sidemarker lights like those found on duallys.
Any cargo longer than 4' off the rear would need an oversize permit.
My dually is not oversized... just the right size for many...
How much will this deal cost the dealer? Ford would like to limit their sales to huge dealer groups eventually having company stores.
Here in WI the manufacturers are banned from selling direct to consumers as I recall. Butbthat would change once $$$ changes hands in the legislature.
When I...
This is a family vehicle for us but really is my wifes daily driver.
I'll be 77 in Dec. Been a gear head all if my life. Trucker since '72 still working PT 30-60 hours per week. Raced dirt tracks for 20+ years. Former race promoter... ran classic car shows, swap meets etc for many years.
Owned...
I had two tires have tread seperations this year.
One, on my '64 Dodge projects, blew out while parked in my storage area next to my shop... since the car has been parked since 1984, I'm guess it was over 40 years old.
The second, on my '87 F350, had a three digit date code which would be...
