Point well taken. I think I'm just teed that Long Macathur got 100+ and 20+ last week while Ford won't even consider any dealers from my small mom and pop dealer in the same region.
That's half the story. Even if a small dealer gets allocations, Ford is still favoring and choosing builds from Long MacArthur, Granger, Chapman, etc. My dealer is in the region as Granger/Long MacArthur and my dealer can't get any scheduled because Ford chooses those dealer orders. And my...
yeah that's not an excuse for Ford. If they have hybrid parts to build August orders that mirror June/July orders, they should be building those first. But because of allocations, June/July orders continued to get screwed over. Pardon my language, I've done everything right as many of you have...
I'll believe that when i see it. The customer service team doesn't know anything put your order # and contact information. They get paid to say crap like that and have been doing it since the Mav was released.
I don't buy that from Ford. If they know they have parts to scheduled August Hybrids, then there's no reason to not schedule June/July Hybrids. It's all about the awards and PR for them at this point. That's not a valid reason from Ford at all.
EArnings are coming up the first week of February...
I think my July 7 order is headed that way as well. Hybrid Lux w/ DIBL. You'd think they prioritize any that get pushed back a MY but that won't happen...
Dealers can sometimes, most times, be full of it and not know anything. But, it seems like your dealer might actually care! If this is the case, we should expect many of our MY22 orders to get the boot to MY23 and when that happens, I guarantee Ford won't put any priority to building those...
If filling all MY22 hybrids mean building them until next December, I'm sure they are on track. Unless they somehow ramp up production like crazy and the demand is what they say it, I can't comprehend how some of us won't end up in MY23. Do they know that the constraints will magically disappear...
That's part of my point; if hte hybrid is constrained at 40% why isn't Ford doing all it can to ensure that 40% of hybrid engines are dedicated to June/July builds who have no other constraints. The entire system is a joke and Ford only cares about the publicity and awards the Mav is getting.
i'm the only hybrid lux package, the other 3 are bare bones XL for work, and 2 ecoboosts. I can't go with the constraint aside from the hybrid being constrained b/c i dropped the SIBL in early November. Just Ford being shady and not valuing customers.
