I don't think this part fails over time. It's either good or bad from factory due to poor install.
All this improvement talk has people in awe, yet less than 10% will ever utilize its capabilities to it's full extent.
Increase battery size, or make a PHEV then we have something to rave about and have something to compete with sliced bread.
Ford pulled the ultimate move with recent Maverick price hikes which almost completely erase the deal and when tariffs are gone, price hike will remain in place :)
And when all your suppliers do the same, suddenly your $1k estimate becomes 2-3k.
Don't forget , prices will go up while majority of wages stay stagnant.
