If you’re pissin on electric fences that sounds like a you problem not a me problem. I’ll take my chances with my dark tint as I enjoy the benefits of it, no different than bikers and pedestrians taking the same risk when they walk and or ride on public roads. Something they have to “factor” in.
I love it, really fits my needs. I didn’t even know these existed until about middle of last year. Stumbled upon it just browsing through a consumer report magazine. Noticed the reasonable price and inquired about one with my local Ford. Long story short I put an order in last August and picked...
I’d be willing to put some coin on the percentage of cyclists or pedestrians getting hit by a car because of window tint being very low. People being on their cell phones while driving is a WAY bigger issue than window tint.
I went ceramic 5 percent on mine all the way around minus the windshield and sunroof, did 20 on that. It’s dark for sure, but I really like how much cooler it is sitting in it now. Plus nobody can see me which is a huge plus lol
I haven’t really messed with this feature yet but noticed when I plugged my phone into the USB and connected it tonight that it would randomly disconnect on its own. I would be listening to some music on Apple play and it would just disconnect out of nowhere. Anybody else ran into this?
I posted this on another thread not that long ago but I thought I read in the manual that driving in slippery mode for just normal driving was hard on the drivetrain, you’ve had no issues at all using that for normal driving?
I thought I read somewhere that putting the trans in slippery mode on dry roads was really hard on it. Sounds like it’s working well for you though 🤷🏼‍♂️
IMO if you’re over 40, maybe even 35, helping buddies move furniture and crap from their houses is over for me, better call some movers lol. I’m not throwing my back out for a couple Miller Lites.
Only thing I noticed on mine was the brakes felt a little touchy, but I also have a secondary vehicle I drive solely to work and back so swapping between the Mav which is new and my 02 explorer the braking is way different as far as foot pressure. Doesn’t really answer your question but just my...
I’m actually kinda disappointed in my tri fold I assumed it was more water proof than it is. I knew it wouldn’t be completely waterproof but I washed the truck a few days ago and near the tailgate and up near the back glass it got pretty wet inside. Plus the rubber where it bends when you fold...
I don’t disagree. The infotainment system could be MILES better for sure. I haven’t taken it on any long trips yet so as far as the co pilot or ACC I can’t comment on. After tinkering with it again just for shits I was finally able to get the seat belt chime to go away on the drivers side this...
Also to go along with my original post, this could be considered a con I guess but to go along with how good the ride is I’ve caught myself MANY times looking down and not realizing I’m going 70-75mph. That will really take some getting use to, 70 feels like 50 to me 🥴
Pros-
1. The ride. Man it’s good, I don’t know if the performance suspension helps any with that as I haven’t got to ride in one that doesn’t have the fx4 package. Pot holes feel like the highway reflectors. Hardly noticeable.
2. The handling, probably goes hand in hand but the handling is...
I may look into this. I didn’t purchase the extended warranty when I bought my 24 so after 36k I may look into buying one of these packages from granger. Has anybody dealt with this yet having to actually use it yet after their initial warranty was up?
I personally don’t like the auto start stop I think it’s hard on the starter. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise lol I turn mine off every time I get in
Wish I would’ve looked at how much you could get these tri folds for before I added mine when I ordered it. 1100 dollars from ford is looking like I got mugged 🥴
