Historically I would forget about it until I see an odd charge on my credit card, I would tell them to refund me and had to renegotiate the price I wanted. That's why I am thrilled to now be locked into a lifetime price I am happy with. The so called "convenience" feature exist just to get money...
Yes, I originally had this on my Mustang and when I traded in on the Maverick, I just had to give SiriusXM my Radio ID # off the Maverick and transferred the service.
I just negotiate the price with them, a handful of times they wouldn't agree with a price I want so I would call back a day later and get the price I wanted. Right now I am paying $21/month for life in my Maverick and Fusion, I am happy with that.
My coworker turned me on to the Crossclimate 2's and I put them on my AWD Ford Fusion, they're amazing tires, never got stuck in snow or skidded on ice driving through multiple snow storms over the years with them.
I used to put in a lot of effort to get better fuel economy and the best I was able to squeeze out of it was 24 MPG for a whole tank, I live in a mountainous region too. I always seem to have bad luck trying to get rated fuel economy figures with anything I drove, even when trying.
TBH, after almost 18,000 miles, I am only getting around 22 MPG on average with my 2025 Tremor. That does include some short trips and stop/go but a lot of my driving is mostly highway.
I personally wasn't a big fan of the Bronco Sport replacing the Escape, it seemed like it didn't inherit the some of the options the Escape had, that's why this platform from Ford interested me. Overall the products I was most likely to replace my Fusion with would have been the Escape and Edge...
TBF, I am more interested in the potential sedan and Escape sized SUV they plan on releasing on this platform, I plan on keeping my Maverick for some time but my Fusion is approaching 215,000 miles and I would be interested in an affordable EV if the price/feature set is right.
My 2019 Ford Fusion Titanium has the auto dimming side view mirrors and it's a feature I sorely miss on my Maverick, along with rain sensing wipers that my Fusion also has. I did the auto dimming/homelink mirror install for the interior, which was easy but I suspect exterior auto dimming mirrors...
It's not that bad, I actually often get over 50,000 miles on my tires but the Poconos gets some nasty roads in the winters with the snow/ice. As for my Fusion, I have a 2019 and I never managed to find a TCS off button unlike my other cars.
Well for example, at the end of my street, I have a steep hill to climb going home. A couple times in the past I had traction control cut power on my car and get me stranded on the hill, other times I almost didnt make it due to loss of power. They're a few places up in my area like this, my old...
Nothing wrong with that, for me cars always got a female name, I am feeling Michelle for mine but I haven't come to a firm decision on that. I also totally forgot about Tremors and how its the same spelling for the Tremor Maverick, I loved Burt in those movies, I think I watched all of them at...
I vouch for the Cross Climate 2's, I had them for years on my Ford Fusion AWD and that thing tears ass through snow with them on. On an unrelated note, I did drive my Maverick Tremor through the snow to work on Saturday and Sunday, she did fantastic with her factory installed tires.
