  1. 🄊 2022 Maverick vs Santa Cruz PRICING, SPECS, TRIMS Comparison

Thank you! You just made my point! A loaded Ranger is roughly the same price as a loaded Ridgeline while providing more capabilities than the Ridgeline. You can get a Ridgeline 2WD that is competitively priced, and it still doesn’t sell as well bc of its limitations.
  2. Santa Cruz's Are Starting to Arrive

That’s not the intent of what I wrote. I wrote that the two vehicles are not equivalent bc Ford is marketing and selling the Mav as a truck with options that trucks have, that are not even available on the SC. The FX4 package being one of them. The fact that the bed does not have a weight...
  3. EcoBoost Maverick, really ?

Toyota has a pickup for you! šŸ˜†
  4. EcoBoost Maverick, really ?

šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜† The Geo never earned its own bumper sticker like the Prius! šŸ˜† Prius’s are also driven by certain insufferables trying to virtue-signal w their car. šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†
  5. EcoBoost Maverick, really ?

A Mav Lariat X4 actually does look pretty cool.. I’m waiting for the more capable off-road version. Prius’s always have and still do look like those tiny Shriner Clown Cars! šŸ˜† They’re also usually driven by certain insufferable types trying to virtue-signal w their car! šŸ˜†
  6. Santa Cruz's Are Starting to Arrive

If that’s true, where exactly is the Santa Cruz’s off-road package? Mav has one… and an even more off-road capable version is in the works… w the Bronco Sport’s GOAT Mode AWD. About as ā€œoff-roadā€ as a Santa Cruz will ever get is the over-flow parking at Starbucks while it’s owner runs in to...
  7. Santa Cruz's Are Starting to Arrive

The factory usually has NOTHING to do with recalls. Recalls are largely either design errors or supplier design errors. Most recalls are minor, like those on the Bronco Sport or are supplier issues like the airbag recalls that hit almost all manufacturers. There’s not a modern vehicle produced...
  8. Santa Cruz's Are Starting to Arrive

    Powder Blue? 🤮🤮🤮
  9. EcoBoost Maverick, really ?

And you won’t look emasculated driving a Mav… Meanwhile, the Prius I can’t say the same! šŸ˜†
  10. ~26.6 MPG for 2.0L Maverick Lariat FX4!

One for the bucket list! It certainly takes you to the end of the world.. it just doesn’t look like there’s much to do once you get there…

Of course it has a green tinge…. That’s where the ā€œcactusā€ part comes in

Brown and blue have always gone together. It’s a classic look!
  13. 2022 Maverick Spied With New Accessories (Black Trims, Hood Bulge / Scoop, Wheel Arches, Window Air Deflectors) šŸ“ø

Yes, but when I got the Lariat and FX4 packages on my Ranger, it already came w the fender flares included… and they looked great!
  14. 2022 Maverick Spied With New Accessories (Black Trims, Hood Bulge / Scoop, Wheel Arches, Window Air Deflectors) šŸ“ø

The fender flares are the exact same style as on the Explorer, and judging from the Explorer, they look good. It could be that Ford is testing different add-ons that could be used in future packages, but not necessarily intended to all be on the same vehicle. I agree w the previous poster...
  15. What do you like LEAST about the Maverick?

And Ford releases yet another green… (They released ā€œGuardā€ for the F-150, ā€œGem Greenā€ for the Lincoln Navigator) and now ā€œForged Greenā€ for the Explorer… but nothing for the Mav….
  16. What do you like LEAST about the Maverick?

Just look at menswear from Under Armour, Nautica, North Face, Columbia and sneakers from Nike, Brooks, etc. It’s a very common color combo to those who don’t dress like Darth Vader! šŸ˜†
