Here’s the Tractor Supply 48” tool chest. I built a hard cover to sandwich over the opening too.

Yes Sir, those ancidotes you’re providing are what I’d like to know. Anybody install this lift and hear CV joint knock/poping at full droop? Do you get contact with the wheel wells on hard landings? Did the backspacing reduce and induce tire rub at full wheel lock?
Does it cause steering wheel...

Thanks for sharing but the videos, but they don’t answer any of the four questions I wrote, or the dozens more I’d like to ask a guy who’s installed the kit. Anybody do this install that can tell us what it’s like?
Somebody who’s installed the Superlift 2.5” lift kit please post pics and tell us all about it! How hard was it to install? Did the directions leave anything out? How does it ride and drive now? How bad did gas mileage drop? Blah blah blah. Inquiring minds want to know :-)
It's on sale for $249.95 right now
2.5in Ford Maverick 4WD Lift Kit | Superlift
It's the biggest lift available yet, and yes Super Lift is a quality manufacturer. It's a glorified coil spacer kit. Nobody's making kits that actually improve suspension flexibility, travel, ride quality, etc.. but...

good idea, I even thought about a piano hinge, but couldn't get it flat against diamond plate. So I got a piece of aluminum flat bar and new set of snaps and a new mat. I'll try drilling the flat bar and installing the new snaps through the aluminum and rubber mat and see if that stops the snaps...
Somebody mentioned "Katy People", well here's my place in Katy holding my Tahoe with a 4"+2" lift on 35"'s down to the frame. I'd agree with you about 33"'s north of the Coastal Plains, but down here you can get any tire size stuck if you're not careful and especially on flat ground.
Never say never. I can make the case for a descent offroading Maverick. It's not going to be for everyone, but offroad enthusiasts and teenagers inheriting Dad's truck, they'll get the Maverick aftermarket going.
Yes to all y'all's points, there are many obstacles, and better vehicles to start...
I'm with you man, from my decades of off-roading around Texas, it's hardly worth lifting a truck if you can't get at least 35" tires under it. 33"'s will leave you stuck in the mud at Shilo Ridge, or bashing and breaking your undercarriage against the rocks at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area...

I started with an “in bed box” or “chest” from Tractor Supply Company, that was about 48” wide and had the bottom back edge cropped to fit a full size truck wheel well up against it. It was basically lost space in the Maverick. It also sat on the wheels and when I accelerated it occasionally...
