For tonneau, are you looking for soft, hard roll-up, or tri-fold?
Can't speak for soft, lots of options available and some pretty cheap. If you're ok with higher price, I'd recommend the hard roll-up. Gives you more bed space when opened than a bi-fold and doesn't block the rear window as much...
Even if the paint wasn't prepped well and the tape had poor adhesion, I'm struggling to figure out how it's lifting off of the hood like that. I have the same protector, did a self install, and even before peeling the tape it laid flat on the hood during test fitment.
Pure speculation on my...
It's a lot more responsive, especially if I just turned the engine on and engaged reverse while the Ford logo is still booting the infotainment system. Reverse camera now overrides the boot sequence near-instantly and no more lag when Android Auto is up. Time will tell how permanent of a fix it...
In that case, why not go the 3E route and stuff a Eluminator Mach-E electric crate motor in it? With a dual motor setup it should be good for around 562 whp / 634 lb.-ft of torque.
ELUMINATOR™ MACH E ELECTRIC MOTOR
Ford already makes a no-drill tailgate applique, you could look at doing a fiberglass mat over it to hide the logo and build out the bottom to cover the embossed lettering as a flat section. May even be able to have a small tinted lens added to keep the rear camera functional.
Maverick...
I tried the Mabett covers, fit great but were hot on my back even with the seat perforations, the texture was too grippy almost like a non-slip mouse or phone cover, and any water, liquid or oil stand out as a glossy smudge until completely cleaned off.
I ended up going with Clazzio fitted...
Ford would like to again apologize for the recalls. The recall responsible for fixing the previous recall has been recalled. Ford will shortly issue an entirely different recall, to fix the previous recall intended to fix the initial recall, at the last minute and at great expense.
Nice choice on the color, HPR is one the few that go well with the brown interior. When I pre-ordered the XLT in Sep 2022 the Black Appearance Package wasn't even announced yet, it showed up on the price sheet at the dealer. I really couldn't justify adding a BAP and a Luxury package on top of...
The thread from Fordvideoguy said the battery needs to be at 100% charge before the recall can be performed.
Maverick Rearview Camera Recall Fix is Out!
I'm wondering if the dealer skipped that step and update checks for it. Keep us posted.
That's the problem with personal anecdote's, every person is different. My last car was a Nissan Juke, which had three giant holes in the lower grill, affectionally called the "wine rack" by the community, with the radiator exposed behind. Pretty quickly added an aftermarket mesh insert pre-cut...
Congrats on the new Mav, may want to update your profile to remove the "on order". Temp has made a huge difference in my mpg, dipped to 37 mpg over the winter, usually around 42 - 43 long term average in warmer weather.
I've got it as well (self install). No complaints, a few observations:
- bottom air dam sits slightly lower than stock, may catch on tall curbs or parking stops (I'm also on Eibch lowering springs)
- finish is a coating or paint, if scrapes occur (see above) the base material is light colored...
What did Blackstone measure the viscosity as? Ford datasheet lists the following:
Viscosity:
cSt @100°C 11.0
cSt @ 40°C 68
cP @ -30°C 5500
Viscosity Index 160
Product Data Sheet 5W30 Synthetic Blend
Curious how much it degraded from new, or is the Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 spec intentionally...
If you're serious about your question, ask your dealer if your order included price protection in the agreement and does it cover tariffs? My 2023 went up $400 on price adjustments alone between when I ordered and delivered but the dealer honored the original price from when I ordered. Not sure...
From the 22-24 manual:
The manual does not differentiate between the 2.0L ecoboost and 2.5L hybrid for octane recommendation. I've been running 87 without issue but may try 91 this summer when it starts creeping toward the 90s in July / August to see if there's any noticeable difference.
Nice to see they do work with the EGRs, even if you did end up swapping them out. I've been contemplating trimming the corner to just before the bend to clear the blind spot a bit, leaving enough to hopefully not compromise strength.
