What they're describing as smoked lens looks exactly like what I have on the factory Black Appearance Package, including the LED side marker light. They don't look like traditional "smoked" where the whole cover is tinted black, not a lawyer but based on pictured he should be fine.
Plug-in AWD hybrid with 30+ mile electric range
Ditch the Navy Pier color scheme at least for the Black Appearance Package
More durable plastic and/or soft touch dash on higher trims
1200W invertor for the bed
BLIS / lane indicator warning standard
Factory fog lamps available outside of Lobo
Couldn't pass the deal at the time on factory spray-in + side rails for $495. Added a BedRug Impact Mat to save my knees when doing tie-downs or reaching under the tonneau cover, and the mesh cover over the gap between the bed frame and tailgate was a nice bonus when dealing with loose material...
Looks like you've already got the front splitter, I say go for it to round out the ST look.
Another benefit I haven't seen mentioned yet, I picked up one last year, mainly to cover a large scratch in the ridiculously soft factory plastic. The spoiler is much more durable if you plan to have...
The upgrade options are only for the current 8" size that keeps the weird side cubby, or a tall 12". I think what OP is looking for is a screen with a 12" width to eliminate the cubby but an 8" height so it doesn't stick up more than stock over the center dash. Think 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio...
I'm not sure a 1 - 2 mil thick ceramic coating will do anything for chip protection from rock impacts:
The Thickness of Ceramic Coating Explained - NANOLAB
My understanding is it's really there as a durable environmental barrier for the clearcoat, along with possibly providing additional...
A good portion of that was directed at the mid-cycle 2025 refresh price increases. Base XL went from $25,515 in 2024 to $28,145 currently for the new 2026 version. For the 22 - 24, I'm guessing there's enough of a base to make it commercially viable.
Plus, the advantage of buying a cheap...
Reminds me a lot of the demographics for my 1st new car, a 2006 Scion xB. Marketed to 1st time car buyers, pretty much all I saw were Gen X and boomers who flocked to it for the price, mpgs and utility for it's size. All the millennials went for the sportier tC coupe.
I have not received a letter and had the code pop back up this evening. They've already replaced the valve twice and the cooler once, hopefully that's enough to get them to check other items, i.e. the sensor.
2023 XLT Hybrid with ~33k miles, had my check engine light initially come on in the afternoon September 27th. Since Ford dealers were already closed on a Saturday, I got the free scan from Autozone that came back with a P0402. It cleared the next day but then came back on October 3rd. I was able...
I wasn't aware cleaner wax as a term before looking at this post, is that the same as soap & wax in the same product? I would think that would be less effective than separate soap and wax for initial application, but good to maintain the finish throughout the year.
For doing a twice a year...
This happens on my hybrid and from what I've read is pretty normal for them, usually around 3 mph when it transitions over from regenerative to mechanical braking. I've gotten used to easing up slightly right before a dead stop to smooth it out and eliminate the mild jolt right before full...
If you're not hauling sutff that would scratch the sidewalls (mulch, gravel, lumber, etc) why not just get a bed mat? Water will still drain underneath and they're around $100 -150 on Amazon.
I splurged on the BedRug Impact Bed Mat because my knees suck and it provides extra cushioning but...
Katzkin are probably the gold standard outside of full custom but I wouldn't really consider them covers. You need to pull the seats and re-upholster to fit them so not really in the same category as slip-ons a DIY could manage in a few hours and without tools.
