I've also bumped the dial into neutral -- going uphill over the Continental Divide. Briefly started going backwards downhill and it was unnerving as hell.
Pretty sure the computer won't allow going into reverse at speed tho. I won't be trying that to test what happens.
I have the same bug guts on that bumper's approximately 4" of forward facing painted surface. Already noticed a tiny rock chip there as well. :confused:

I have these exact mats. Found them on eBay branded IKON Motorsports. They just change the logo plate depending on the seller, but same mats. I agree they are very nice for the price. Think I paid like $55 for the full set, total steal.

EDIT: I ended up pulling these off. I laid them down a bit out of alignment, and my OCD wouldn't stand for that! After removing them, I decided I like it better without. I may try again someday, or not.
EDIT: Just checked OK State's site for the hell of it. It looks like it may still be in effect for Mavericks, but the posted eligible years are outdated. Hmmm.

Ford is taking some liberties with that "full sized spare" description. It's hardly that. I believe the manual says not to exceed 45 MPH when using it.
