I am kind of like Tim where I tend to see patterns (although most times there is not one), but so far post your comment about those who are on ford website and got 45day email... Myself, you, and another all appear to have Lariat EB Lux... showing up in system while others are not... Just a tiny...
Just got my 4th 45 day email as well, so I assume I wont be getting any good news today. Unless the automated email is not associated with how and when they send out scheduling emails. Anyone have info on that?
Haha...I bet some people are. After knowing my spot for dealership allocations I am not giving a drop of hope that this website change means anything. But it is Ford....and this whole process has been a circus...so who knows.
It shows up on my end but only on the website like a few others have mentioned. Its possible that its not an instant update or change, and taking time to do this for all the orders. So that could be why some of you dont see anything yet.
Could it be that those of us who are seeing it are having...
Thanks for that info commadorebob. Its just a hard thing to grasp when I keep hearing/see "basic numbers = all ecoboosts built by spring/summer"...yet that doesn't actually represent how the vehicles will get delivered. I could wait months and months from now and my own dealership could get the...
Now I am stuck and wondering if any of the experienced MTC persons can help. I just was recently at my dealership for service and was told I was 37th of 42 new 2023 Maverick orders. And something along the lines of them knowing how many allocations they were getting right at the start of order...
In my defense here it is hard to really know the full conversation and ideas and thoughts between people while only on a forum vs in the same room where things can be discussed better. I believe I even agreed with you that it seems possible to schedule every order right from the start with one...
@bearsfan647 I completely agree that people making assumptions about the good or bad experiences they had does not represent or reflect everyone's personal experiences.
I have attempted to go back through and read some postings and such and trying to figure out what is the beef you currently...
I have heard this a bunch of times, but is this an actual thing or am I a unicorn? I have put on an extra 215K miles on my 2009 Escape when I bought it in 2011 with 14k on it. I had 1 check engine light/warranty repair issue before the 3yr 36k was up, and nothing since. No check engine light...
If it doesn't get built this year and I got a temp car because my current one was totaled or was on its last leg and died....then at least I currently then have a mode of transportation. I would most likely get a suv but slightly newer/less miles than my 09/225k... as up until that moment it was...
I completely understand. Thats why I am getting one, it checks all the boxes I need/want. I currently also have a reliable vehicle and not an urgent need to have the Maverick yesterday. So waiting is not an issue. If my vehicle breaks down today (its over 12yrs old)...I am not going to attempt...
Just throwing this idea out there. It is one I have floated around in my head if something unexpected happens.. (accident, total vehicle loss, engine/tranny goes out...etc), but what about getting a "loaner" car (or insert correct term here).
I see all these people complaining that they ordered...
Id say to hold on a bit longer. Things from Ford are looking better as they are going to be adding that third shift to keep pushing out Mavericks (and Bronco Sports which bugs me because all the dealerships I have driven past have multiple bronco sports on the lot yet no mavericks). Less items...
I agree with that. hypotheticals here.... lets say they can make 50k hybrid and 50k ecoboost in a year. 80k people order hybrid and only 20k order ecoboost. means roughly 30k people may not get hybrid for the year. but for those who actually want a truck and not a requirement for it to be...
Yeah, my dealer has(d) 2 as of yesterday evening, but I assume with ridiculous ADM. Website only stated the MSRP....which I assume they cant be selling them at. But some people want them that bad and will pay extra.
If you sell enough of the cheaper ones you can easily make up for the difference.
It could just be the area you are in that supposedly have no Tacomas. In my region, I did a 100mile radius. 25 brand new Mavericks. 56 brand new Rangers.... and...wait for it... 283 brand new Tacomas.
There are a...
For as long as it seems you have been waiting, I would swap spots with you to get yours faster if it was possible. Or at least be the last retail order (make all fleet last), but nobody actually wants to be last. haha.
My current 09 Escape I feel comfortable to last me till I get the...
I appreciate your info as always! Does Ford make the international and fleet constantly with retail, or just weeks of fleet/international, like how the last couple weeks stated just Retail?
But if you estimating 44k, at least there is some wiggle room for the following weeks to have more added...
