Not unheard of if you ordered late in the model year. I had one of my 23 orders converted to a 24 despite ordering on the first possible day. Search for local inventory. Take a couple hour drive if necessary. There was nothing improved in the 26 model year. Only features taken away...

I've been using one since the day I got my Maverick in November 2023. Not sure what you mean by the clamps. It has 3 clamps for each side that you can freely put wherever you like unless they have made some recent changes.

You don't need one. Follow Ford's guidance, not your dealer. I'm about to have my second oil change at 2 years and 12,000 miles.

When was your last oil change? For hybrids Ford recommends every year or 10k miles.
