I honestly already have a Ford OEM mat on top of my spay in liner but I've managed to get a gouge in the mat after doing a dump run. White comes through so this tells me the Ford mat isn't 100% rubber. I am mostly doing dump runs and hauling luggage and gear for road trips. Would love to test...
My 23 Lariat Lux with the upgraded 12" I have added plus better interior plastics, ventilated seats, rear defrost (yes, they fog up), no interior rattles, AWD, HomeLink with a bigger mirror, BlueCruise.
For what it's worth, my Lariat is significantly more quiet than my dad's XL on the highway. I would have to assume the acoustic glass plays a big roll in that.
I purchased a headrest mount tissue box holder and a set of stick on door sill protectors. I hated how the sill protectors looked in person so I never put them on and I ended up using Mabett's under seat cubby for my tissue box instead. Much cleaner and out of the way.
There are a bunch of weirdos out there. I'd prefer my locks stay locked while driving. You can always hit the power lock to unlock to doors after they autolock. They will remain unlocked.
Michelin CrossClimate 2 excel in essentially everything other than off-road. Three peak mountain snowflake rated as well. I've been very happy with mine. Put them on with 100 miles on my Maverick.
