Mine has been in the shop for three weeks waiting on CV axles. Started around 30k miles, maybe a little earlier. Also had evaporator and carpet replaced and I had water coming into the cabin behind the console (not good).
Let's see which one shows up first. I took mine in on 10/25. Dealer said he replaced my evaporator and carpet because of the cabin leak. He messaged me on 11/7 saying axles are still on backorder and told me the same thing that they escalated the priority so we'll see which one shows up first.
I was originally looking for one before I bought my Maverick last March. As you said, all the tri-folds under $800-1000 do not fold all the way up. Most people have commented that it is easy to take off and not an issue, but I agree its annoying. I ended up giving in and getting a Pro X15...
This is the reason the Maverick has gone up so much so quickly. When the 22's came out, Ford couldn't build them fast enough ( I know because I waited 18 months for mine). People were willing to pay $5-15k over MSRP for these things. Of course Ford is going to raise the prices because they want...
My Maverick replaced a 2018 Rav4. I was super-excited to have not only my first hybrid, but my first truck. I regret getting rid of the Rav4 for it as I don't use the bed space much ( I used the outlet for Christmas lights) and the only thing I prefer with the Maverick over the Rav4 is the gas...
Yeah, the interior is my biggest gripe (in addition to the poor manufacturing). I have two dogs and all the plastic pieces of the car are scratched up so bad. I had a Rav4 for 5 years before the Maverick and the interior still looked almost brand new. My Maverick is 18 months old and looks like...
Yes, several. First, I was just disappointed in the gas mileage. I mean I was getting 35-37, but not 40-50 like some were getting. Second, I really hate the seats on these things. They make my legs go numb and the back seat isn't very comfortable. The infotainment system also randomly glitches...
Anyone have any luck getting their CV axles in? My dealer just emailed me that they are working on my other issues, but the axles are still on back-order. I noticed FL Lemon Law says if the vehicle is in the shop more than 30 days it can trigger a Lemon Law. If it stays in the shop that long, I...
I think it is reasonable. If you had time to wait or already have Farm Bureau, you could save another $500 or if you qualify for one of the other ones. Otherwise, not a bad price. I personally regret my Maverick purchase and I got mine for $4500 below MSRP but most have been satisfied. Just...
Hopefully your CV axles hold up as mine started going around 30k. I don't know if the Powertrain warranty covers them (it should), but the 36k bumper-to-bumper is almost up. I'd take a look before it does.
Yeah I almost used it last year as I had another on order in PA, but it took too long to come in. The only good thing is I got my truck for $4500 below MSRP and sold my Rav4 to Vroom for a good price so I only owe $17k on it. The plummet in resale value definitely hurts though. Especially with...
I have a fully loaded 2023 Lariat hybrid with 33k miles on it, and I'm only getting offers for $21-23k, so getting $24k is definitely good. I thought about ordering a 2025 because it has all the things I was missing from mine, but the truck value is depreciating so much (at least here in FL) and...
Option 1: Fog light system that better integrates with the tow hook areas
Option 2: Raptor Style grill for Lariats with Adaptive Cruise. Currently only see ones for non- Adaptive Cruise
Option 3: Fitted seat cushion. I know you have full seat covers that look great, but just want a seat...
I bought mine at Mullinax Apopka and had a relatively decent experience. Mine took 18 months to come in, but it's because I ordered at the peak early on. Now there probably isn't much of a waiting game. I ended up getting the 2022 Rollover credit, X-Plan Pricing, and the Student Discount so I...
Do we or Ford know what is causing this CV axle issue? Is it a bad batch of them that went out? More importantly, is Ford putting replacing them with upgraded ones or are they just as likely to fail again? My truck is in the shop waiting for them now and am at 33k miles. I'm just concerned that...
My truck is currently in the shop since Friday, waiting on the backordered axles. Dealer has no idea when they will be in. I'm at 33k miles, but I noticed the vibration before I hit 30k.
Definitely not in Fl. When I bought my Lariat last March I checked Carvana and CarMax and they were only offering $31k on my $37k truck with only 1000 miles on it. Now my truck has 33k miles and Carvana offered $22k. I'd say the market is dropping bad, at least here.
Definitely not. Already had two recalls and it's currently in the shop to get the CV axles replaced as well as a new evaporator and carpet as the floor boards are soaked. I waited 18 months for mine and only good thing was the price and okay gas mileage. Going back to Toyota after this one.
Dealer confirmed it's the CV axles and said the evaporator is causing the leak. There is a backorder on the axles so putting me in a loaner. The tech mentioned that the carpet is so damaged that it started molding and they are going to do mold remediation and replace the carpet as well. Thought...
