Yeah, and it's totally worth it once its done. I don't have a garage so I don't use the home link at all, but it's nice to have if I ever do. It also just looks nicer compared to the stock one, especially on a Lariat.
Tire pressure is fine at least based on what the truck says. I do use A/C, but being in Florida, I use it constantly anyways and hasn't really changed.
I'm glad I did mine back when the guy on here was making the harnesses. Harness was $40 and found a mirror for $20. Best investment I made in the truck.
My gas mileage is consistently getting worse. Late last year I got a new set of tires and went from the Primacy's that were on there originally to some Defender 2s. I don't know if its just the tires or a combination of things, but I can't even hit 500 miles anymore on a tank.
Anyone with a 2025 model have this bluetooth connection issue? I wonder if switching to Sync 4 fixes it at all? Mine doesn't do it very often, but still often enough that its annoying. It usually happens when I'm about to do a long ride and the only way to fix it is to turn off the car entirely...
It was done towards the end of December. I think the cold has a little to do it with as well. Even though I'm in Florida, we did have a streak of 30s-40s for a couple of weeks. It wasn't cold when I bought them though, but it wasn't summer heat either.
Yeah, its a little more difficult with a sunroof, but what helped was opening the sunroof all the way, and going down from the top if that makes sense. Getting to the clips without breaking them was the hardest part and one still popped off but luckily I didn't lose it.
I ended up replacing my tires for Defender 2s after my stock Primacy were supposedly worn out at 34,000 miles. The Defenders definitely ride more comfortably, but I am seeing a noticeable drop in MPGs. I was averaging 37-39 on the Primacy, but it dropped to 30-31 after I put the Defenders on. It...
Yes, the interiors are shit on these trucks. I have two dogs which doesn't help, but my truck is less than 2 years old and was scratched up to hell within 2 or 3 months of owning. The 2018 Rav4 I sold for the Maverick looked almost brand new inside after 5 years. If you just look at the glove...
I bought my 2023 Lariat in March 2023 with a sticker of $37800. I then added ceramic coating, PPF, ceramic tint, and a spray-in bedliner. I took it to CarMax in July 2023 and they only offered me $37000 for it then. Don't know how everyone is getting great offers, but I think there must be a...
I'd say that's a good offer especially nowadays. I have a 2023 Lariat Lux hybrid with the BAP and all the bells and whistles. Carvana and CarMax are only offering me $22,000. Only reason why I haven't sold it and gotten something else is because the values dropped too much to be worth it.
They just had one this past Saturday. I commented on your other post. They are about once a month and the admin has traveled around Florida, more than I would do.
