Mine has been good since they replaced the CV axles. I think they only replaced the front ones so I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before the rears go out as well. We shall see.
My second car was a 2003 Honda Civic. I drove it for 10 years with only needing oil and tire changes. Had a Camry after that, drove it with zero issues for 5 years. Then had a Rav4 which other than terrible gas mileage was good to me until I got the Maverick and sold it for only $2000 less than...
Yes, but the dealer is supposed to pass that savings on to the customer. I have seen some where they discount off the price (as they should) and others where they had to pay the current price, but then got a check in the mail once the dealer received their payment.
CarMax came in even lower than Carvana. Vroom had the best offer at the time, but no one was offering more than sticker and once I added the tint and ceramic coating it made it even more of a bad deal. I paid about $4500 below MSRP for my truck and it still wasn't worth it.
I'm assuming it was your XL? Those are really the only ones that still have a great resale value. I tried my 2023 fully loaded Lariat shortly after I bought it, and they only offered 35k on my 38k sticker truck.
If it is your order, then yes you should be price protected. I don't believe Ford is doing the rebates for rollover orders, but price increases in the same model year should be honored. I don't remember what the system was called, but the dealer has to log in and select the order date and it...
The dealer gave me a loaner, but I think that's also because I had water leaking into the cabin so I've been putting miles on their vehicle instead of the truck at least.
I just got a message from my dealer that the CV axles came in and are installed already. I'll probably pick up the truck tomorrow. Hopefully they are the new improved ones.
My truck has been sitting in the shop for three weeks now waiting on axles. I don't mind waiting a few more weeks if that means they fixed the issue and are giving me the upgraded ones.
I'll have to check for that icon whenever I get my truck back. I remember seeing the acoustic logo or whatever on the new one, but never checked for a defrost one. We never get snow in Florida, but do get ice once or twice a year.
I don't think the windshield was ever heated. The wipers had de-icers on them for 22 and 23.
Edit: Nevermind. I assumed the heaters were in the wiper element, but I guess it is at the base of the windshield. Hope they put that back in when they replaced mine.
I was about to ask if you confirmed that. I had mine replaced earlier this year by Safelite and I had to let them know to use the OEM for the Lariat and not a third-party because of the acoustic glass. If you don't specify OEM, they will just give you a generic one that doesn't have it. Not sure...
