The Ford Cmax Hybrid has a nice traction battery monitor icon. Don’t know why the engineers decided not to make this icon available to display on the Mav Hybrid XLT.

I am, more and more, thinking that Ford is so concerned about cannibalizing its F-150s and Rangers by its Maverick hybrids that it is slow walking its Maverick hybrid availability.

The trip from Wytheville VA back to our home in north Atlanta covered 362.8 mi. The dash recorded 41.7 mpg. The entire trip was 1,210 miles from Atlanta to Morgantown WV and back. The mpg’s calculated from dashboard info were 42.1

Can ACC be installed in a Mav XL or XLT? I certainly don’t have such skills. I would be afraid to even pay someone to do this. I would only trust my dealer. ACC should be made on option on all Maverick trim levels beginning with the 2024 MY.

Wife and I drove 6+ hrs today from north Atlanta to Wytheville, VA, in our Mav XLT. We traded off driving about every 90 minutes. Driving or riding itself was very comfortable. I’m 6’3”. But when I got out of the truck, I was stiff and sore. I don’t blame the Mav for this. I blame my age — 75 yrs.

2016 Ford Cmax Hybrid. Drove for 3 years. Great car. Actually getting more mpg’s from my Mav hybrid (43.5) than my Cmax hybrid (38-39); however, I did not try to maximize mpg’s in my Cmax.
