Ordered in Maverick in July and bought a Ford Bronco Sport Outerbanks in September . Found an EB XLT FX4 in December and took delivery Jan 5th. Then 2 days later got an email my Lariat Lux 4K FX4 is scheduled for production 2/18. Still waiting but at least driving one.
Looks like a good solution. I have a different issue. My bike needs a minimum of 84 inches, so even with the tailgate down, I'm short a few. Thinking of making a side out platform that extends the length and can support a 550 pound bike.

This is close but my design is to keep it short so tailgate stays on and will close, The width will come from having the side drop don so the width becomes 6..5 feet. No advantage to the cab over as its not wide enough and too low. Maybe good for storage.

Nice and smooth at 90 MPH - State Trooper waived - liked the truck but was busy with another customer. I just can't see anything over 22 MPG on the EB. Could be a combo of the 13 degree weather and extra idling. Going south hoping to see 28 MPG.
