This recall confuses me. My XLT build date was 02/10/2023, within the identified period. I just checked Ford's website which indicates there are no recalls for my VIN. What am I missing here?

It's at the dealership! Tracker still says it's shipped. Nothing about arrival. Heading that way after work today.

And just like that my hopes again took a kick in the junk! Was in the process of gathering documentation for the loan, and then it happened. Delivery window changed a little while ago to 02-28-2023 to 03-13-2023. Why Ford? WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY?????

Seems unlikely, but I'm no expert by any means. Seems like they would have transferred the railcar as opposed to the vehicles on it. I understand the railroads routinely swap the railcars.

Any chance they changed carriers? UP to CSX for example.

Ford chat unfortunately does not have access to real time updates, so they’re at the mercy of usually outdated info. Basically once it gets offloaded at a rail yard it is very difficult to trace, and the only reliable tracing at that point is through the dealer.

That’s very interesting. Mine shipped from the plant on 02/12 headed to Chicago. I’m actually about 70 miles southwest of Indianapolis. I can’t make heads or tails of the UP data. Just departure times and ETAs. Have not been able to figure out locations.

That's interesting. Same build date, but why the difference in projected delivery dates? I'm only a few hours northwest of Cincinnati.
