Been driving over 50 years and not once would I have trusted anyone in my vehicle or any technology to tell me it's okay to change lanes. I don't Text and drive so I would have no need for any electronic device to keep the vehicle I'm driving within the lines/lanes. When I'm first in line at a...
Seen a lot of Maverick photos and besides the front plate (no offense) this is got to be my favorite. The angle, the background, and overall quality of this photo is awesome. This could be the cover for a Maverick brochure! Certainly at the top of photos in my Maverick library. Thanks!

We got on line to "Build" our Mavericks and up pops the dealer(s) in your local area. In my case there were Three Ford dealers about the same distance. I went to all three -- first one didn't have much info and no Cactus Grey anything to see the color I was considering. They...
Not sure who copied who here, GM or Hyundai but the similarities are uncanny when it comes to the exterior. Then there's the interior - oh Boy . . . . Come on GM, you're embracing your self - - Base price: $26,595
Eye-Eye Captain . . . . you're right but I did say "if". That Kia has been in the making for a couple of years so it most likely will come in the next year or so. Yes, it would be the Maverick buyers looking at the higher end Lariat and those that can't get a few things Ford doesn't or won't...
OMG! . . . . What the HELL are they thinking? I wouldn't be caught dead (or alive) in that thing. That's an image that's going to be hard for me to get out of my head. I was a GM guy most of my life and in fact, the Maverick will be my first Ford.
The only truck I think that can compete with...
And probably a bigger factor is the rise in Gas prices. This is why almost 64% went with the Hybrid. . . . Ford anticipated they would get 60% EB orders compared to 40% Hybrid. If you think about it, the Base was not suppose to be the standard but what they anticipated is people would add a...
I pretty much feel the same . . . . I ordered my Maverick by checking off what was not needed and checked what was and then made a couple of compromises. I always consider "intent" in most anything that would apply. I agree Ford developed what the majority wanted in a small truck. Nothing's...

Steven Symes - the author, has proved anyone can review cars & trucks. He's entitled to his own opinion but little or no research or common sense applies to his article about the Maverick. Question - if...
I think they forgot why a bigger percentage of buyers purchased the Maverick? IT'S THE HYBRID that attacked so many and yes, the size/price. The reason they didn't compare any of those other trucks to the Maverick Hybrid is because it STANDS ALONE!
I'm not knocking those who ordered any of the...
Before the Ford Maverick came along folks had to resort to other ways to tailgate. You see, the couple who owned this SUV thought they would load up their propane Grill for the tailgate party. They made two BIG mistakes. 1. They forgot to turn off the propane tank and 2. Mama lit a cigarette - -...
First of all, Merry Christmas!
I guess I'm not understanding how allocations are a part in this when all Mavericks were to be "Retail" only? Please help me out here. We basically sold the vehicle to our selves and they just did the paperwork (at least in my case).
Also, we didn't have...
I'll be installing a couple of these boat deck hatches when I get my Maverick. One for the filter and one for the oil pan drain -- $40.00 for both
I also want to say thanks for the excellent video. This is what keeps us busy until we get our Mavericks. I do want to add that the Hybrid takes 18...
Hybrids need only be refined until we can get EVs to "go the distance". Charging has been and still is a challenge, for now. There's a lot to say about battery technology too and that will change significantly in the next few years. I sure hope the future of charging EVs isn't going to depend...
And employee parking areas. Future will tell but a carport area with a solar roof and induction pad in Florida, Arizona and other areas on this planet will make a great deal of sense. Getting an 8 - 10 hour charge for free would be a great recruiting tactic too.
Actually as I have mentioned in posts on other subjects -- it was for sale with a 5K markup. The point was that "some" dealers and/or salesman care only about money. BTW, That Maverick sold later that afternoon for 4K over MSRP from what another member posted.
That's why I mention "exemptions", referring to Tim and a few others. But my personal experience doesn't Include people like Tim.
The first Ford dealer I walked into had a Maverick displayed right in front of the front door. I sat down at the salesman's desk ( my back was to the widows...
Couldn't have said it better! I thought about that for years and can't understand why there is zero interest from any manufacturer. We'll probably see this in the European market before we see it here.
I also don't understand why there is Zero "induction charging"? I talked to Tesla at the 2009...
