Come to think of it, do I need the lift to run 245/65R17 on the Mav? I'd certainly need a deeper rim - but do I need the lift?
Edit - Found my answer. It works fine. I think I'll just go that route then. That should leave me a couple of inches under 6'.
I'd like to lift the truck slightly so I can slap on some 245 BFG ATs but I'm worried that it'll no longer clear the parking garage at work, which - if memory serves - is only 6 feet or so.
My Ecoboost is expected to arrive any day now. While I twiddle my thumbs waiting for the call, tell me what you don't like about the Maverick so I can taper my expectations.
So far, I've heard of:
Bad speaker/sound system.
Noisy interior cabin
Easily scratched interior
I edited the post, but no. The short version is that this build was offered to me by the dealer as we had no ETA on the hybrid and I had been waiting around 8 months and needed a car sonner than later. I don't know when the order was actually placed.
Oh weird, that dealership is right down the street from me. Small world. Too bad it's 10k more than the XLT I have on order. I would have grabbed that in a heart beat if it were cheaper.
Awesome, thank you! I was a little worried that Canadian models wouldn't have that feature. We always seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to these things.
My XLT's only coming in next month but I'm shopping for the stuff I'll need in the meantime.
I've seen others mention that there's a remote starter on the Ford Pass app. Is this also available in Canada/on Canadian models?
