I wouldn't say I cared about fitting in. Only that people see my age and automatically assume I must be like X because I'm in a specific generation. More annoying than anything since I really don't feel I fit in any of them.
Yes. But I think if they start regularly pushing $40K, they need to offer it as a Platinum trim with a few more features to justify the cost to most people. Luxury doesn't have to mean size.
Weird, I found the opposite. I was happy my wife traded in the Explorer because I never found the seats comfortable. I am way more comfortable in my Maverick. Always have been and I've lost 120 pounds since owning it.
I'll say again: BlueCruise should be an option on the Lariat. It is basically glorified lane centering which it already does. Plus, for Ford, it is an extra couple hundred dollars a year per truck. Even if the take rate is only 25%, it would more than offset the cost of including the computer...
There are exceptions to every rule. But my entire high school class is in the in-between era and we all feel the same. We don't really fit in with either Gen X or Millennial.
Yep. Depending on the list, I'm either a Millennial or Gen-X. I'm too tech savvy to be Gen-X but my family actually didn't get our first computer until I was almost a teenager.
So, I'm a tech nerd that knows how to drink from a hose....
As others have stated, the key fob has an accelerometer. It goes to sleep if not moving for a few minutes. This is a security feature to prevent hacking into your truck on top of the encrypted algorithms.
Also, the receiver on the truck that is looking for a signal doesn't use that much power...
I really don't recommend random character Chinese brands on Amazon. It is really just a glorified Temu. You get what you pay for as they almost always have zero support and so you are on the hook if it is crap. A lot of them will even change their names if their seller rating drops. This...
Looks better. Waze takes up the entire screen now with the Apple CarPlay control being an overlay rather than a separate frame. I'll put it through its paces on my way to the capital today.
Keep in mind that interest rates on used vehicles tend to be higher than on new ones. Depending on the loan terms,, that difference could be more than the savings seen with getting a slightly cheaper used vehicle. Even back when interest rates (and my credit score) were in the dirt, we bought a...
On the EB, Eco simply slows the acceleration and shifts up faster. Basically, the opposite of sport which is punchier and sticks to lower gears longer.
On the hybrid, I'm sure it does the same and maybe goes heavier on the regen.
Personally, I prefer the more sensitive control that normal...
Over nearly 26 months of ownership, I am averaging 23.05 mpg over 13,499.1 miles at last fill-up. Roughly 10% of those miles are towing an enclosed trailer at highway speeds.
Driving background for reference
My truck is a 2023 AWD Lariat Lux EcoBoost with 4K tow. No moonroof. I work from home...
