My display is a couple mpgs high. You can adjust it. I didn't bother. I use the Fuelio app. I have about 14k on mine. Average is 40.7. High was 47.8. Low was 35.3.

On a side note, I have to pay a road use fee since I have a hybrid. State wanted me to buy a device from them that plugs into the OBD port to track milage. I declined and just pay the fee.
