  1. Aftermarket toneau covers in canada

Might have to go that route if the dealer doesn't come through. Thanks for that link! There can be some extra charges couriering stuff into Canada, and the exchange rate always has to be considered. Sometimes you're not saving much when all is said and done. It was stressed to me, at the...
  2. Aftermarket toneau covers in canada

Yes, the Amazon Easy Button works here. Mind you I don't see any Maverick ones available. Hopefully the dealer comes thru... would be nice to have a tonneau cover on it before it snows.
  3. Aftermarket toneau covers in canada

I bought my Maverick 15 Oct, ordered a soft roll-up tonneau cover from the parts guy at the Ford dealership that I bought my truck from... still waiting. I was quoted around $700 installed. This leaves me wondering, are they marking it up and charging me an hour shop rate ($160) to install...
  4. Real world fuel mileage MPG results by 2.0 EcoBoost owners - check in here

I have an XLT with tow package. First tank of gas, it calculated out to just under 9 liters/100 kms combined, which is 31.5 mpg Imperial, or 26.3 US mpg. I find the instantaneous, and average fuel economy indications to be a bit optimistic. Generally I'm seeing 35 mpg hwy, 30 mpg (Imperial)...
  5. Anyone find a source for factory steel wheels?

Dunno about "way more sunk in", but they do sit about an inch or so further inboard than the stock aluminium wheel/tire combo. This is with Michelin X-Ice Latitude tires on Escape compatible aftermarket cheap steel wheels.
  6. Anyone find a source for factory steel wheels?

I was quoted $700ish Cdn per rim (the base XL steelie), and told can't get 'em anyways. I snagged the Escape compatible rims for $80 (Cdn) each from a wheel specialty shop. Dealer wanted $110 ea.
  7. Anyone find a source for factory steel wheels?

Probably could, but I don't want to. They use a lot of salt up here on the roads (tough winters). Lots of people put good winter tires on steelies, and use basic lug nuts... to spare the aluminium wheels and chrome lug nuts from corrosion. Looks weird seeing nice newer vehicles with black...
  8. Anyone find a source for factory steel wheels?

I spoke with a parts guy at a different Ford dealership, and he offered that the Escape has same hub/wheel bolt pattern & 17 x 7. Lots of sources for aftermarket Escape steel wheels... and I bought a set of new aftermarket steelies locally, had snow tires mounted, just need to buy some lug...
  9. Anyone find a source for factory steel wheels?

I have an XLT Maverick that I recently bought. I phoned the dealer asking about steel rims for winter tires. I gave them P/N NZ6Z-1015-A (part number for the factory steel wheels). My dealer told me not available yet. I checked our local Canadian Tire store, and they don't have the Maverick...
