Have you already checked with Discount Tire? Someone told me on this forum about 'new tire credit'. I would be interested in how this tire size works out.
That Pepper Red was my first color option in the build. I later changed the order/build to Velocity Blue. Good luck to you and everyone else. The Maverick would make a nice Christmas gift for many.
If the chip shortage meant no more of those 'snack size' bags, I wouldn't be to upset. On the other hand, I am lucky if I can stop at half a bag of Dorito's.
PS: Frito corn chips with the spicy bean dip is nice too.
Sorry Administrator, not sponsoring or promoting Doritos or Fritos in any way.
Besides the obvious, people's lives and health, so many things have been effected because of Covid. I honestly will surprised if any of our Mavericks will be made on time. If there is an outbreak in the assembly plant where the vehicle is produced or any other plant where the parts are produced...
I have 15 patients currently that have tested positive. Most do fine, little to no symptoms. Those that are on oxygen, as of this evening, have prior health conditions that are moderately serious to begin with. This Delta spreads like a fire, it is no joke.
I will mount the radio somewhere near the dash. I was just trying to figure out how/where to run the antenna cable/wire to mount antenna externally. I will just have to wait, like many others, to see how to carry out the projects once I have the Maverick in my hands.
Seriously considering getting some snow tires right away. I have a build date 1st half of October, so far. Mid November would be a likely arrival time to take delivery. If I can trade in the Pirellis, for credit on snow tires. I am looking at Michelin Xice now and may get some all-terrains in...
There is probably some way to route the needed wiring from the cab to the rear of the bed. The plug-in power inverter is mounted on the back panel, cab inside. And I believe the power wiring goes from there to the, drivers side, rear bed. If I had some cross bars, raised to top of cab roof...
Ok, then I will change my definition/plans from 'off-roading' to more 'soft-roading'. More a little Starbucks and stargazing. I think the Maverick will do fine on dirt/gravel roads. I just need something to get out of the city and find some peace and quiet out in nature.
I ordered a XLT AWD with FX4 and 4K tow. The idea was it would be a daily driver and weekend camping and dirt road exploring vehicle. For about 3k to 5k more I can get base 4dr Bronco (longer wait) that would be more off-road capable. On the flip side, less MPGs. I am looking forward to Youtube...
I have been very fortunate to be in the healthcare field during 2020 and current. That being said, I am not very optimistic about the next few years (globally). I have, this past week, thought about going with a basic XL instead of the XLT loaded out. I am currently debt free and hate to be...
