You ordered either the bed tray liner or the bed mat. I remember finding it confusing when ordering because when I ordered there wasn't a picture of what the tray liner looked like. But what you wanted was the drop in bedliner or spray in bedliner. The tray liner - like the bed mat - only...
I admire your marching to a different drummer. On the forum here at least, it appears most of us are driving like grandma to coax the best MPG.
As LSchicago said, get a dragy box. My brother had a similar device in his Mustang and it was more fun than the accelerator pedal 😁
As others have noted, using pure gas vs 10% ethanol blends do not make financial sense here. There are several stations offering 90 octane (so mid grade) pure gas. But it costs $1 more a gallon (currently $3.40 vs $4.40) vs 87 octane with 10% ethanol.
So an improvement of 10% on the mpg makes...
My XL Hybrid is carbonized gray. I wanted nicer wheels but something not flashy. Went with these. They are also inexpensive.
I'm sure other tire places do this, but Discount Tire's website lets you select your vehicle and then picture it with different custom wheels they stock...
I picked up my Maverick Hybrid XL on Oct 5 and replaced the stock steel wheels with custom wheels on Oct 13. So these were only on a week/about 100 miles and are in perfect shape. TPM's were transferred to the custom wheels so just valve stems. Includes center caps and lug nuts.
Price $200 for...
Question:
The factory hack of switching steering wheels or just switches and then reprogramming with Forscan is obviously the least expensive and looks entirely factory. But people are fiddling with control coding (hacking, so to speak)
Rostra is more expensive, looks not as nice. But not...
Well - I hope so. I've seen at least one post where the brake problems (sudden stop with a thud) didn't show up until the truck had a couple of thousand miles on it. I'll be attentive to such and take it in if it starts doing such.
No problems. The regenerative braking makes it feel like you stop faster than normal relative to the amount of peddle pressure. But I adjusted and break with less pressure right up to the point I want to come to a complete stop.
As someone else noted slower is nearly always going to be better. I had an 18 mile trip on a highway that the speed limit was 50 Max and 40 going through one small town. It was also relatively flat. The average - including once back in town and to my house - was 56 mpg. According to the trip...
I bought an XL so will be adding heated seats. A couple of trim shops in town do it. Of if up to it lots of youtube videos showing how.
At my age and where I live, heated seats are mostly about back pain LOL.
My cars are parked in a garage and we only - most years - get half a dozen days of...
So my long wait is over. I ordered my Maverick Sept 16, 2021. Received it Oct 5, 2022.
FROM THE FACTORY
XL Hybrid / Carbonized Grey
Trailer Hitch, Full size Spare, Hard roll up tonneau cover & 400 Watt power cabin power inverter. It was supposed to have a drop in bed liner but somehow that...
So had my Ford DIBL installed today. Ordered it online at accessories.ford.com (along with a few other things) paid for it, paid for installation and had everything shipped (for free) to a nearby dealership.
Paying online for the installation is a GREAT idea, BTW. After the bed liner was...
Well..... As a matter of fact:
I got my Maverick on earlier this month. When I called to add it to my coverage I was quoted a price that was $90 (every six months) less than what I'm paying for my 2018 Ford Escape SEL
I didn't realize it was $90 less until I just happened to receive the bill...
I was tempted - the dealer offered a Ziebart protection package for $895. Trouble was not sure what I would have been buying. Ziebart has both "Diamond Gloss" and a "Ceramic Z gloss" protection.
Ultimately I looked online and decided to just do one of the spray on/wipe off hybrid type...
As others have mentioned, if you purchase a Ford Factory extended warranty you should do so from Flood Ford or Granger Ford at a much lower price. Or ask your local dealership to match the price.
But I agree with others there is no good reason to buy the warranty right away. Wait until you are...
If you get out and push it you'll get 999 MPG 😁
Just kidding. Just in short trips down the highway I've discovered - according to the dashboard estimates - that MPG is way better at 55 than it is at 70. At 55 and relatively flat roads it's right at 50 MPG. Do 70 and it's what the EPA says.
But...
