Not only labor, but also the Maverick specific manufacturing robotics and machinery that's installed in the plant in Mexico. Contracting, duplicating, and installing that in two separate plants in two different locations can't possibly be cost effective.

The words left out there, but implied by the rest of the article is ..."but (new) customer orders (after January 27th) will be suspended until summer." Nothing in the article or the notice to dealers says that current orders in the system won't be built.

Our 4 doors down neighbor picked up his cyber orange hybrid lariat this past Thursday. The HPR hybrid lariat that I ordered was delivered to our dealer on Jan 13th. We've checked it out and done a test drive, but we're waiting for my husband's rapid red hybrid FE to come in before deciding...

It only alerts when you are driving at slow speed and are in imminent danger of hitting something. Mine's gone off maybe 4 times in 73,000 miles. I don't think it could be turned off by accident, but definitely check your settings.

Report them to Ford. Find the copy of the email that was sent out to dealers that's floated around some of the forums and Facebook pages, and email it to your dealership's general manager (or take it in). You have a copy of your original signed order so take that too.

I've never heard the term so I can't say. I'd want something I could return if it's corrupted though. Ebay resellers and Amazon have some level of guarantee.

You'd be surprised to find out that traffic cops often do not have more to worry about than a cracked windshield and a chance to sniff the inside of your vehicle. Think about keeping something in your truck that verifies that you're working on it.

You're probably going to get a lot of suggestions here, but as a longtime user of smartphones, MY suggestion is to go to eBay and buy either a 2 year old unlocked model of IPhone or an unlocked Android Samsung Galaxy S9 (not an S9+) that is 'Ebay refurbished' in good or excellent condition...

There's a decent chance that the electronic signatures were copies of the other docs, but there's nothing at all wrong with calling the dealership and requesting email copies of those electronically signed docs. Tell them it's for your 'files.'

I stopped accepting calls from numbers that aren't in my contacts years ago. I have voice mail. My voice mail announcement says "Leave me a message, or send me a text. Otherwise, I assume you're just trying to sell me an extended warranty." Car salespeople can do that just like everybody else...
