Anecdotally, I know a lot of people who drive hybrids. Many of those hybrids now have significantly more than 100,000 miles on the battery. None of those people has ever replaced that battery. Even if you were super unlucky, and you did have to replace the hybrid battery at 120,000 miles, by...
Yes! Please! We're 2 hours away, but we're involved in a major bicycle fundraising event this weekend in New Bern. If there's a Maverick in Raleigh, we might be able to skip out at noon on Sunday and drive over to Raleigh to take a look at that thing.
48.5 years. We still have separate bank accounts. And separate cars, but we freely switch off cars depending on who needs what - as long as HIS is clean enough to meet my standards. (sort of) LOL.
Yesterday, I had to go out and buy birthday wrapping paper and tissue. Guess what else appears to be in short supply. It's not just motor vehicles and major appliances. This is not what I had in mind for the 20's. 😮
I don't name my vehicles. I don't want to get too attached. On the other hand, I do name my navigation systems. Each, in her own way, has saved my marriage.
That hasn't been my experience at all, and I'm not known for spending a lot of time on waxing, etc. We don't have a garage, and our two red vehicles held up the same as all the rest.
I'm the person you should buy your used car from. I buy new with a generous level of technology, then in 6 to 8 years (100k to 120k), I sell it and buy something else new, with cool technology that has a great big owner's manual.

Husband ordered on June 21st. I ordered on July 8th. Both high level hybrids. Still waiting. We're too small of a sample size to have any idea whether that's significant or not.
You just expressed an opinion and made up numbers to support it. And the answer could be much different if you had used even close to verifiable numbers. That's really not how predictions based on data works.
I suggest you tell your dealer you'd like a printout of the order that was sent to Ford. You didn't realize they hadn't emailed it to you when they placed the order, and you need it for your records.
So making stuff up is a teaching moment. Lol.
You don't actually have any idea what any of those numbers are, so you just made some up to support whatever point you were trying to make.
Well, okay then. I feel schooled.
