  1. OMG! I HAVE A WINDOW STICKER!

 I mean, I'm sure YOU'RE fine though!!!!
  2. OMG! I HAVE A WINDOW STICKER!

Don't get too envious, I've had a window sticker for over 5 weeks and I'm still not even built yet. It used to mean a lot but doesn't necessarily mean much lately. "All good things arrive unto them that wait...and don't die in the meantime." ~ Mark Twain
  3. Shipping Charge Is Excessive!

And the uninformed have no excuse to be uninformed. Literally the first article that comes up when Googling "Are destination fees negotiable" outlines damn near every point being made in this thread, from the fact that these costs typically are NOT negotiable, to the fact that you haven't been...
  4. Is the Maverick worth it? Aligning expectations.

I don't really disagree with any of that but it's also basically the same thing the other poster said that you were replying to/taking exception with. As for that Honda, those are nice lil cars, I've almost went with one the last few times I've bought an Escape. For what's it worth, as annoying...
  5. October 25-29 Ecoboost builds

Nope, some of us that went into Production several weeks before you still haven't been built. Fingers crossed for you!
  6. Shipping Charge Is Excessive!

Sure, far from the truth on cars and RVs that were sold anywhere from 3 to 5 years ago but I thought we were talking about buying a Maverick in the present? Since you seem to think that your previous deals, from YEARS ago, are IN ANY WAY comparable to buying a Maverick today, your...
  7. Shipping Charge Is Excessive!

You haven't been car shopping in a while have you? The script has absolutely flipped in the last few years. The demand is high enough that even if you do walk away, it'll only take an hour or two for someone to come along that will happily pay that full $1500 delivery fee....along with another...
  8. Ford Has Put A Delivery Hold on my Maverick for Spray-In Bed Liner

Very well could be. There seems to be a decent variance of trim levels and options caught up in this "early October delay fiasco" but spray in bed liner seems to be a pretty consistent feature among us folks caught in the crossfire; myself included.
  9. Is the Maverick worth it? Aligning expectations.

Sounds like you are a very invested Ford fan so I have no designs on changing your mind but I have to largely agree with the post by Gabbydad that triggered you so much. Sitting in the Lariat trim Maverick at my dealer a couple months ago, the interior absolutely felt like a step down from my...
  10. Ford Has Put A Delivery Hold on my Maverick for Spray-In Bed Liner

Unless something has changed recently, those moonroof issues were from a mistake made during the curing process back in April or something. Can't imagine how that would have an effect on Mav production that started so much later.
  11. Shipping Charge Is Excessive!

Nice try fella but as you can see, these costs are spread out among everyone. You may not be on the hook for the storage of YOUR Mav but SOMEONE has to pay for all the storage costs incurred when they take 35 days to build mine and still aren't finished, lol. Time to cough up the dough, good sir!
  12. Shipping Charge Is Excessive!

Ding, ding, this is the correct answer not only for Ford, but for everyone else. Separate out a core part of the manufacturing and distribution of a device so that you can can (IMO) mislead folks with an artificially reduced MSRP. "Ford Mavericks, starting at $19,995!!!" sounds so much better...
  13. Conflicting information - My Dealership vs Ford Maverick Customer Support on Hybrid builds for 2022

I’ve had good luck so far with Sanderson Ford, FWIW. Dunno that you can expect the level of hand holding some dealerships I’ve seen on the forum provide but they are honest so far.
  14. Shipping Estimates/Delivery Dates Accurate?

Your dealer should be able to give you the VIN and Order Number, then you can just use https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking to track it yourself. Or, at least, you can do that when the tracker is working. Looks like it's taken the day off again (as it often does), as it's not working for me.
  15. Shipping Estimates/Delivery Dates Accurate?

I had a delivery date of 11/10 all the way up until a couple days ago when it changed to 11/27. I fully expect further delays at this point too, since I'm not even totally built yet. OTOH, I've seen several folks who have had their Mav beat delivery by a week or more. So, take the delivery with...
  16. How long has your Ecoboost order been "In Production"?

Seems like there has been quite a bit of variance in orders, ESPECIALLY since early October, so just wondering exactly how long folks have been/are stuck "In Production" on their Ecoboost orders? I know there's been a lot of headaches around hybrid orders but given all their restrictions, I...
  17. Ford Extended Warranty???

Yep, those headlights hurt but they're one of several things that make buying an extended warranty on a car today ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL like buying one 20 years ago. I can tell you first hand that as nifty as all those extra gadgets are, once all those safety sensors, or the Sync system or...
  18. Scheduled to Day 11/17, Scheduled to Week 11/22, Scheduled to Day 11/28. What !!!

I mean, I don't work at or for Ford, so all I can do is rely on what I've seen mentioned online. You very well may be correct but from what I've seen, the way your vehicle was optioned is why you got lucky with the early scheduling date, not your Priority Code. Regardless tho, lucky you!🍀
  19. What is STOP SHIP? Delayed delivery

Yes, I'd seen the recall on the Broncos but I'd read the Bronco recall was all due to a 2 day window back in April where they didn't allow adhesive to dry. Seems odd that this same issue would impact Mavs built 6 months later.
