By that logic, why would you ever buy anything? I mean, if it's impossible for someone selling a product to make money off of it AND have it be a wise purchase for a consumer, our whole system kinda collapses, doesn't it?
Ford is going to make money off of selling a Maverick to me but I still...
My Ecoboost been in production since October 7th.
I'd say somewhere between a few days and a month is probably a safe guess as long as it's not a hybrid order.
Solid points, luckily, your last paragraph is definitely where I think I'm going to fall, although it'll be ease of acquiring them as opposed to cool factor that prolly drives my choice.
We don't have that many pot holes anywhere I drive and given the svelte build of the Mav, I'm hoping neither...
Yes, the Lariat that I'm getting has 18s, that's why I could keep the tires if I went with aftermarket 18s.
I'm comparing those to the 17" FX4 take offs.
First off, take anything I say with a HUGE grain of salt, I'm just starting to look into this stuff. I'll definitely be verifying whether what I'm looking at will fit.
With that said, I'm looking at Discount Tire, searching for 18"x8 wheels with a 5x108 bolt pattern and an offset up to 45...
Those Alpines are actually on my short list of wheels I'm considering if I go 18s, assuming I can still find them. Discount tire shows they're discontinued.
My Lariat build finally has a delivery date so I need to get into gear on making some wheel decisions, as I really want to go with an all black wheel. In a perfect world, I'd snag some FX4 takeoffs for a good price but that might stretch my patience to wait for a deal on those to pop up. I also...
I was scheduled for build week of 10/11.
Tracker showed "In Production" starting 10/7.
Blend date was 10/8.
Finally, this morning while I'm still showing "In Production", there's now a date of 10/21 populated and I have an 11/10 estimated delivery date.
Just to temper expectations, maybe you'll get an email next week but maybe you won't.
My Ecoboost went into Production over two weeks ago and still hasn't moved, and there are other folks here that have been waiting even longer for their EB order.
Keep them expectations low!
Approved earlier, yes. But still not shipping out for months:
" The first Maverick Hybrid pickups are expected to start shipping in December with customer deliveries expected to start in January,"...
Today is my 2 week anniversary of going into Production. Guess we're both lucky to have our numbers pulled during work shutdowns. Of course, we still have a ways to go before we hit up against the same delays I've seen others report.:)
