30-32 would be on the high end for any real world situation on a long run. This guy says he has 4k tow witch would lower it more. This 46 mpg even for 14 miles has to be down the side of a mountain or some other situation that isn't sustainable.

Brake Controllers are very easy to add. If you don't have the knowledge or confidence to do it yourself, any camper or trailer dealer would be able to add one for you.
People are selling them all the time on the forum here WAY cheaper than that. Check the marketplace here. You could also check local junk yards, I bet you could find some cheap there.
Why do so many people care if other people consider it a car or a truck? You will never convince people one way or the other. All that matters is if you like it or not. Nobody else's opinion on it means squat.
I would tell him that you feel that he didn't provide 5 star service. Tell him that he gave you average service and you were fine with that, but you feel that is 3 star service. Make him earn that 5 star rating! No participation trophies from YOU!!! You can probably talk him into at bare minimum...

I have the bed extender. I swapped over the brackets when I got my new maverick, but I haven't actually put it in yet. When I get home I will try to put it in and see if it will rotate in and out.
