DRL have lead to a significant and statistically proven (easy to google studies) reduction in accidents. One accident even minor is not worth saving a few possible bucks on LED replacement down the road.

Did you add them to space the fixed metal bar portion further out toward the seat/ latch? I just got my ‘23, had the same issue. Eventually walked around to passenger side and had to slam it hard, got it to latch that way but not ideal.

Personally I think they look pretty rad. Clean/ stylish. But to me on the maverick the really chunky new style rims, with fake beadlocks or other similar features just don’t look right. Maybe I’m getting old (37)

Picked it up tonight! The truck drives fantastic so far. Very pleased. I haven’t had a ton of time yet but can’t wait to drive to work tomorrow! I love the dash.

This is true… it’s probably like a new cellphone: looks amazing and you take care of it perfectly for six months, then you realize it isn’t a big deal.

So close yet so far! Took a spin by my dealer today to gaze in the window. Unfortunately it is closed for a stat holiday. My salesman said he doesn’t work past 3, when I finish my day at 4 tomorrow. I’m sure someone can do the fricken paperwork if I show up ready to buy it after 16 months waiting!

I’m so glad they made this law, we have way too much dark weather here during winter. Plus nobody using car share seems to understand that you need to turn on your lights, they just see bright dash lights and drive off into the night.
