It's actually funny how the font/typeface has stayed so consistent. The basic oval design goes back to 1912, over 100 years. Though the "Blue oval" style is only 98 years old, was adopted in 1927.
I like it. I like the blue one a little better because that's what I grew up with, but I think the black logo looks good on a blacked out front end. A lot of manufacturers are going to these "flatter" simplified logos, but I hate most of them. Ford simplified a bit while still looking traditional.
The first time I had to remove it it was so overtightened that I had to remove the nuts entirely and pry the clamps off of the bracket. Now I can just loosen it and it'll come off, but the first time is painful.
I suggest removing the nuts, and then lifting by the frame of the cover. The bolts...
You know how to periodically coast and let the battery recover energy to use later? Are you gradually slowing to a stop or are you waiting as long as you can and then applying the brakes hard? All these will impact your MPGs on a hybrid a lot more than a regular ICE
This is a much better done video than the last one, they got the right mic. And he really does seem to like it and makes some good arguments against the larger trucks.
Wouldn't be that hard to convert the Louisville Escape line to Maverick (and Bronco Sport) production if that's the case. I'm surprised they haven't done it anyway to get additional production capacity.
I think they should just call it the "tow package" to be honest. I think it's worth it marketing-wise. Yeah, it might be able to tow 2k standard, but that's nothing these days. They can call it "tow package" and market it as "enhanced cooling and gearing to enable towing up to 4000 lbs*"

If you're going to tow, just get the 4k tow package. Even if you're not going to tow 4k, it's going to make your drivetrain more robust for towing in general. And it gives you an extra safety margin when someone puts that extra 100 lbs on your trailer that's already at 1999 lbs. (I know it...
I find myself wondering. Chevy is slow but not THAT slow, and an Blazer EV with a bed seems like a no-brainer (since they don't do hybrids, speaking of arrogant stupidity). Stellantis and Toyota have platforms overseas that they could federalize and build here. But they aren't. They might still...
I've been a fan of TFL for a long time but I think Roman's been doing it for too long and doesn't bring the energy he used to bring. Andre, Roman's son, and some of their other younger staff seem to be where the energy and enthusiasm are.
