  1. New Logo Bone-Head Award

It's actually funny how the font/typeface has stayed so consistent. The basic oval design goes back to 1912, over 100 years. Though the "Blue oval" style is only 98 years old, was adopted in 1927.
  2. New Logo Bone-Head Award

    Here you go.
  3. New Logo Bone-Head Award

FYI I did NOT get the BAP on my 2025 Lariat, and I got the black logo.
  4. New Logo Bone-Head Award

I like it. I like the blue one a little better because that's what I grew up with, but I think the black logo looks good on a blacked out front end. A lot of manufacturers are going to these "flatter" simplified logos, but I hate most of them. Ford simplified a bit while still looking traditional.
  5. HELP! Factory Soft Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover Removal

The first time I had to remove it it was so overtightened that I had to remove the nuts entirely and pry the clamps off of the bracket. Now I can just loosen it and it'll come off, but the first time is painful. I suggest removing the nuts, and then lifting by the frame of the cover. The bolts...
  6. 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD. Can I know the charge left in the main battery?

I wouldn't say terrible, but it was awfully convoluted. It made the point but it took way too much TL: DR to do so effectively.
  7. 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD. Can I know the charge left in the main battery?

That doesn't mean you can't optimize it further with more information.
  8. 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD. Can I know the charge left in the main battery?

I wouldn't mind knowing when my battery is low or high so I know when to let it charge and when to not bother.
  9. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

You know how to periodically coast and let the battery recover energy to use later? Are you gradually slowing to a stop or are you waiting as long as you can and then applying the brakes hard? All these will impact your MPGs on a hybrid a lot more than a regular ICE
  10. 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD. Can I know the charge left in the main battery?

Not available on the 25 Lariat, not that I've found yet anyway.
  11. What are the pros and cons of 17” vs 19” wheels?

I'm actually still contemplating getting 17 inch aftermarket wheels. Maybe when I swap the tires out, not sure yet.
  12. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

This is a much better done video than the last one, they got the right mic. And he really does seem to like it and makes some good arguments against the larger trucks.
  13. TFL - 2025 Maverick vs. 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz

Wouldn't be that hard to convert the Louisville Escape line to Maverick (and Bronco Sport) production if that's the case. I'm surprised they haven't done it anyway to get additional production capacity.
  14. With or without the 4K package ???

I think they should just call it the "tow package" to be honest. I think it's worth it marketing-wise. Yeah, it might be able to tow 2k standard, but that's nothing these days. They can call it "tow package" and market it as "enhanced cooling and gearing to enable towing up to 4000 lbs*" *...
  15. With or without the 4K package ???

If you're going to tow, just get the 4k tow package. Even if you're not going to tow 4k, it's going to make your drivetrain more robust for towing in general. And it gives you an extra safety margin when someone puts that extra 100 lbs on your trailer that's already at 1999 lbs. (I know it...
  16. 2025 Mav keyless entry

    1. Because it's easier to remember sometimes 2. Tradition 3. Because I have the same combination on my luggage
  17. TFL - 2025 Maverick vs. 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz

I find myself wondering. Chevy is slow but not THAT slow, and an Blazer EV with a bed seems like a no-brainer (since they don't do hybrids, speaking of arrogant stupidity). Stellantis and Toyota have platforms overseas that they could federalize and build here. But they aren't. They might still...
  18. TFL - 2025 Maverick vs. 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz

I've been a fan of TFL for a long time but I think Roman's been doing it for too long and doesn't bring the energy he used to bring. Andre, Roman's son, and some of their other younger staff seem to be where the energy and enthusiasm are.
