It's actually funny how the font/typeface has stayed so consistent. The basic oval design goes back to 1912, over 100 years. Though the "Blue oval" style is only 98 years old, was adopted in 1927.

FYI I did NOT get the BAP on my 2025 Lariat, and I got the black logo.

I like it. I like the blue one a little better because that's what I grew up with, but I think the black logo looks good on a blacked out front end. A lot of manufacturers are going to these "flatter" simplified logos, but I hate most of them. Ford simplified a bit while still looking traditional.

The first time I had to remove it it was so overtightened that I had to remove the nuts entirely and pry the clamps off of the bracket. Now I can just loosen it and it'll come off, but the first time is painful. I suggest removing the nuts, and then lifting by the frame of the cover. The bolts...

You know how to periodically coast and let the battery recover energy to use later? Are you gradually slowing to a stop or are you waiting as long as you can and then applying the brakes hard? All these will impact your MPGs on a hybrid a lot more than a regular ICE
