and we wonder why price is so high on everything. its because there is way too much money and not enough trucks. 3 trillion in covid aid still going (i didnt get any, but you can bet a lot of mega rich fatcats did). what would be a real price where you'd see these on lots? i bet 50k. only then...
if its actually capital gains you pay zero percent up to 72k in income or so (~44k after standard deduction), which me and a lot fall under. of course long term capitol gains requires holding the asset a year?
they actually have the most basic ipad at 329 msrp, which sometimes goes on sale as low as 249 (this is when I have picked them up in the past). Well, it is the 9th generation, but I see no indication they intend to stop producing it, it's in stock on their website etc.
this seems like a place to ask, is it actually possible to order a Maverick right now?
I mean on the build and price Maverick Ford website, I believe you can go through the steps, it just directs you to a dealer. So I was under the impression for the past few months, that you COULD order a...
yes this is why ford warranty the maverick hybrid battery only the legally mandated 8 yrs. they know it's possible to fail soon after, costing buyers thousands. altho disposing of lots of excess perfectly good toxic fluids isnt good for landfills or the environment.
Anyways my 08 canyon purrs...
Even then it would still be one of the cheapest options in trucks. Truck inflation out there is INSANE.
Before this my dream AWD eco 2.0 Mav XL would have been about 25k, if it went up 3k it would be 28. That's the base lowest possible price for most other mid size trucks (Colorado, Ranger...
Drove by the local Kia and out of the corner of my eye spotted a Maverick! Very rare sight indeed. So I checked it later and that came up. Unreal. 47k. Doesn't appear to be FX 4 or any other special package, looked pretty plain jane admittedly was out of the corner of my eye. Seems similar to...
I remember everybody telling me I was wrong that the hybrid would be less reliable due to two power systems, a new system for Ford etc...dont think theres any question anymore.
Could be something totally different but I get this on my 2008 GMC Canyon 4 cylinder Its one of the the AC/Heat blower behind a vent, the little motor starts clicking or something. No way to fix it except remove the entire dash so I just live with it (obviously long out of warranty in my case).
How much? Starting at 50k? Noone can afford any of these trucks. Well, at least I cant. Sure, they're all nice. Was just looking at Rangers after not looking for a long time and looks like they start at about 45k, if you can find one, vs 25k a couple yrs ago realistically now. It's just getting...
Generally it's environmental laws and policies that prevent the flow of food or oil. See Keystone pipeline etc.
ethanol itself is a big farm scam. Those farmers have a very powerful lobby and they basically ramrodded through these regulations and laws (in the name of environmentalism) that a...
That tends to happen when the alternative is (effectively) slowly being banned.
There are quite a few gotchas with EV's the media doesnt cover.
I am sure Tesla is somehow externally heating the batteries, this is how to avoid cold degradation. However Model Y's are extremely pricy, I just...
I've been alive for a long time and "this" has pretty much never happened.
"This" being vehicle prices practically doubling in like a year before my eyes, it being impossible to get new cars off the lot, empty car dealers etc.
I have yet to see one in the wild but at least I saw one in person at the dealer finally a couple months ago. They look great in person. If you like the pics ok, it's only that much better in person IMO.
Coming from my 2008 Canyon IMO it's also got a good size too it. It still rides a little...
We cant answer that for you.
I'm assuming your sure you want the hybrid. Hope you are like most people that ditch their cars after 3-4 yrs and churn $ into something new. Ford only provides 8 yr warranty on the hybrid battery which is the bare minimum required by federal law. They probably do...
LOL I found the suckers who pay for 93 octane gas. Always wondered who that was. Probably change the oil every 1k miles too because "cant be too careful" (the manual says 20k and it's too conservative in reality, 30k more like it)
I think this has the dual injectors right? Arent the regulars...
How does Taxes work? I'm in Tx and seriously considering this. A drive or flight would be a PITA, so I would definitely lean to getting it delivered. Even if that cost 1k youre coming out 2k ahead. Would I pay Tx 6.25 vehicle tax? Would there be any title issues being a dealer in a different state?
ironic they blame the popularity on the hybrid feature when almost no hybrids are being sold. media for ya i guess
i would guess only on this forum is hybrid more popular. in real world i expect maybe 80% or more to be ecoboost even though it's more expensive.
