I kept track of my milage on my cross Canada and back trip this summer. My average was 6.4l/100km or 37 mpg. This was mostly highway milage a rough guess of 80% highway so I was very impressed. Take that for what it is worth.

I did a quick and dirty check on Ford of Canada's site and an XLT with what it says on your order is
$43,700 which converts to about $32,00 US$ this is without the dealer add ons. I checked my dealer but they do not have a hybrid XLT, only a 2.0 EB and that is $43,300 Cnd. Maybe a bit high...
Yeah, that 2x10 was a bit of a problem to toss, but I have a garage with lots of wood I can’t part with, no room for another. The other wood was just IKEA left overs. Clearing out the kids home, three kids under 10 collect stuff!

Who says Mavericks can not do real truck stuff? I had to make a Dump run this weekend and the
Mav was loaded to the brim. The weight was not as much as I thought only 140 Kg or 300 lbs. The
Maverick carried it all with out problems. If the bed extender had not come with the truck I probably...
I used it for my cross Canada trip and it worked perfectly. I have not had the Power Station in the truck since I got back but the Charger has remained in the truck with no issues.
I found that I could use the charger while using a high power load such as my inductive hot plate at the same...
I have had my Lariat Hybrid now for 8 months and 25,000 km. I have driven from coast to coast and back. The sound of the engine to my ears is not louder more than different.
With the hybrid, the engine under software control, increases speed until it produces enough power for the current...
They make that truck in Europe. https://www.ford.co.uk/vans-and-pickups/ranger-phev
It is listed at 40,000 Pounds approx $50,000 US$. Nifty truck. It is also available in the EU with Left Hand drive.

I have the same Maverick and while that is true, So What? Not sure why people make a thing of this. When towing with other non hybrid trucks on a long hill I would select the gear that held the speed I wanted without gear hunting and up we went with the engine at a constant speed, What is the...
As a former Ford Dealership mechanic, the way warranty works, or did in my day, the mechanic does not get paid for his time if he does not record exactly what he did, along with time punches. Also every warranty claim required an associated part to be approved by Ford. I’m sure things are not...
Hi Garry, I'm from Chilliwack BC and my numbers are a bit different from those that I have seen posted here. Chilliwack is quite small and my city drives are usually not very long or far. As a result I take a big hit as the cold arrives. I will not likely see -15C here, although it has been...
I had a similar but somewhat different issue with my 25 Lariat Hybrid. At just over a 1000 clicks I got “Transmission Failure” and everything shut off. I coasted to the side of the road and at about 5 kmh the Park Brake engaged. I turned the truck off and back on. Everything cleared.
As I was...
I had to replace my windshield on my 25 Lariat after a crack spread too far to ignore. I think started from a rock hit although I did not see a bruise, but certainly heard the hit. The crack started
later in the day when it got really hot. I had that once before with my 98 F150. On a really...
It looks nice, however I spent $1500 Cnd for a roof top tent and rack to carry it with. It has been perfect for me so I could not justify the extra costs. My RTT stores up against the wall in my garage so another advantage to the tent in my use case.
$9500 US is probably a fair price as there...
I just took my first hi way trip with my 25 Maverick Hybrid since installing Cooper Road and Trail AT. The weather through the mountains of BC was from -2 to 6 C with mostly dry roads. The Coopers are quieter than the OEM Goodyears. I converted to 225x65x17 and steel wheels. The milage...
Winter is close here in Chilliwack and snow tires are required if not now then very soon. So I needed to replace the OEM
Goodyear tires. I decided this time to go with an AT tire rather than a snow tire or one of the All Weather tires that I
had used before. I want to do some off roading...
I agree with everything you observed. I just returned from a cross Canada and back trip of 21,000 Km and found the Maverick to be an excellent long range touring vehicle. I drove a little slower, partly because I avoided 4 lane highways, at about 100 km/hour. That is between 60 and 65 MPH and...
Back when I was a mechanic and cars had grease fittings, the sealed joints had a plug that could be removed and a Zerk installed. These were ultimately eliminated as power grease guns would blow the boots apart and water and dirt got in and the joint life was reduced rather than improved with...
I used an EcoFlow Delta 3 with their 800 watt alternator charger on my 2025 Hybrid. During my trip from coast to coast and back it worked a charm.
I originally wanted to connect to the under hood battery connections but the cable was a bit short. So I went to the battery.
If you are using high...
