Power point timeout Itās a pre set time of 4500 seconds.
You can change it in FORScan there is no switch
Original post from Pastor_Zaxtx that I got the info from. Took me a while to find it. Credit where credit is due...
I ran the wires from the front of the cab to the rear of the back seat.
I removed the right rear wheel well plastic. Itās held in by several fasteners the pop off. This gives lots of work space. You can remove a few and bend it down as well. I was able to pinpoint a safe space to drill...
Ford Kuga wheel does work. I have one installed. Once youāve removed the original, you can gently pull up the entire plastic trim and swap them out. All the connectors work and were the same for me.
Works fine on safari and chrome from my iPhone and my girlfriendās. Also works on my windows laptop using edge and in my android phone, both logged in to the forum and not logged in.
Must be a setting in your browser, maybe a vpn?
So after some thought I came up with a solution Iām happy with.
I used the same dynamic startup hood led I used on the front. I ordered a smaller one which fits perfectly in the groove above the rear window.
I ran some wiring from my front turn signal connectors to the left rear wheel...
I did think about that but just think it would be to distracting. It would take away from the reason for doing it.
Probably send trailer alerts to the dash as well.
Maybe there is a Forscan fix to change it from the brake lights but Iām doubtful
From what I understand the issue with the Maverick is it uses the same wiring for turn signals and brake lights.
Vleds advised that Maverick also uses a digital signal to initiate the command.
For this reason the āturn signal prompt ā canāt be separated from the wiring.
I was hopeful for...
Yes, it can be changed to one press for all windows to roll up.
I use hold during the summer so I can leave the windows down to my visors. Iāll change to one press for convenience in the upcoming rainy season
Yeah, thatās a good point. Iām sure anyone would come to a stop and indicate before reversing.
Most people would know what is happening but lowest common denominator.
The wiring would be a non starter.
Oh well, this is why I like these forums. Collaboration as to why it would or...
I really donāt like the idea of combining the turn signal with the brake/taillights.
I feel the amber turn signal stands out much better.
Be cool if @Vleds offered this for the Maverick. I may have to make my own harness. They are priced a little high in my opinion...
I use it all the time and actually miss it in the work vehicles I use.
I just remember to turn it off when entering a parking garage or going through a car wash.
Makes parking go smoother and avoids the stress as the car wash loads you in.
My 3rd Maverick too. From XLT to Lariat (wasnāt offered in Canada when I ordered the XLT).
Loved the Lariat but spent a ton of time trying to make it better with salvaged parts.
Escape speedometer, Sync 4 and screen, the list goes on. So when I managed to acquire an all wheel Lariat hybrid...
I like the look of what was done by @Uselessness

I bought the lights for my 2023 Maverick but never installed them.
Now looking to see what options I have for my 2025.
This has been a huge annoyance for me as I drive into a tunnel daily and the screen remains super bright for 15 seconds.
I made the changes and now within 2-5 seconds it switches.
Thanks for the information.
