So say TN taxes by mileage, KY taxes at registration, and GA taxes tires.
Then I will live in GA and buy tires in TN every few years.
It is infrequent enough that a road trip would be worth it.
That knocking sound reminds me of my Jetta when the Dual Mass Flywheel went bad more so than my previous Grand Prix that chronically misfired and ate sparkplugs (until the LIM gasket was replaced).
I originally ordered a hybrid on 9/17/22.
I changed from Hybrid to Eco-Boost on 12/15/22.
I now have a VIN and the order date on the Ford tracking website states 9/16/22.
'21 Ranger Super Crew 4x2: 4,232 lbs, 21/26 MPG
'21 F150 3.5 Super Crew 4x2: 4,696 lbs, 18/24 MPG
'22 Maverick FWD Ecoboost: 3,563 lbs, 23/30 MPG
Makes sense to me. The difference in size/weight is about the same as the fuel economy.
If anything, the FWD Eco-Boost might be the most resistant to hydroplaning.
I would think that its weight balance would have the most front wheel bias.
More weight on the front wheels helps the friction equation.
